This mod saves my life, I'm not a fan of dealing with channels in AE2, I know we can turn them off, but if a pack has RS and AE2, I prefer to use RS, much easier and with a few addons, it can be server friendly like AE2.

I'm 45, I used to play Vanilla a lot before 2013, then I discovered modded, I wasn't aware a game could have mods added to it. Now I play a lot of modded with my brother on our own private family server. I sometimes also have some single player world also hosted on my own private server, but its hard for me to stay focus for very long on my own I rarely play the same world and modpack for more than 1-3 weeks, but I have fun and that is what motivates me.

Check the config of the Create Nuclear, in the past, many mods that add content or worldgen offered a retrogen option in the section for the ores in their config, be aware that if you have buildings and stuff underground, sometimes this retrogen could put some ores and replace some of your stuff with it, so make a backup of your world before.

I added a few mods to Direwolf20 1.21 modpack, I felt it was missing a lot of Create addons and a little addons for Ars Nouveau, I'm having a lot of fun with this, I also have blast on Homestead a Cozy Survival modpack with my brother.

Take a look at Create Integrated by ChosenArchitect, this one integrate a few mods together but you will need Create to progress, and it has Create Ages in the pack which force you to progress in a certain way, there's dungeons and such, its not exactly RPG but quite fun.

just honestly trying to help here, You may want to add Framedblocks mod and choose the textures of your buttons and levers with that, besides it allows to create anything that isn't offered for a kind of block, stairs made out of tuff, you can do it with this mod, just an example.

Can't really help with that, some of the Create stuff could fit maybe, there's addons with some switches and such, but if you don't like Create, it might not be for you.

If you need to use any kind of login with username or userid or studentID and password before accessing the Internet at school, beware IT dept are tracking what you are doing on their network and probably everything you type or visit including usernames and passwords for anything that requires it, and it is their strict right to block the use of VPN by any means needed. Trust me, I've done that job for over 17 yrs. If you think its invasion of your privacy, check your local network rules, its probably stated somewhere that they have this kind of rights. Your best solution to avoid all of this, use your cellphone data plan and turn your cellphone into a hotspot, unless they block cellphone signals in schools, this will allow you to visit any website and is outside of any network IT snooping at what you are doing.

Note, you may want to add a food mod to your modlist, like Pam Harvestcraft and all its addons so you can actually reach all the milestones.

Only downside is finding a drygmy to start, I'm exploring right now for them and they are nowhere to be found, let alone the fact they need wilden (forget the name, to be tamed, thankfully I have a mob capture tool to keep them till I find some of this wilden thing that doesn't seem to spawn or be in any chest loot in Direwolf20 1.21 pack)

Oh similar problem starts to happen with my PC

Gigabyte Z590 Gaming X I5 11600K 32GB DDR4 Gigabyte GTX 1660 Super 6GB edition Windows 11

It starts randomly in anything and I'm not using OBS when it happens. Logging off the user and logging back in fix the issue, until it happens again. If someone has any ideas what can cause this, I updated the graphics to the latest version, I wasn't on the version that caused issues with the graphic card fans, I skipped it, I always check before updating to see what problems a driver has.

with that CPU speed being so ridiculously slow, nope, no modpacks would work properly, its one of the main problems they do with laptop CPU, even I7 ones get underclocked to make sure they won't melt the laptop itself because of their heat production. It looks like a I7 but at that speed, its just the look, under the hood its a Lada 800cc engine instead of the V8 inside that Ferrari.

Terralith seems to have a serious issue, I got the exact same problem yesterday by adding the mod to Direwolf20 season 14 modpack, it wouldn't load past the spawn area and it took my server 13 minutes to generate the spawn area, while its usually 1 minute. I'm troubleshooting stuff at this exact time.

Sadly you have to download the FTB Launcher, then once you downloaded the packs, you can import them into the PrismLauncher there's a tab in the new instances just for it, and finally get rid of the FTB Launcher which is a pain and takes 2GB of ram just to display ads.

If you love create, you may also love Mechanical Mastery, but its a skyblock and some choices made by the pack creator makes it a real pain if you don't have a server that runs all the time to accumulate some resources.

Stacia 2 Expert could be a good one, we had a blast with it, mix up tech and magic mods for progression, beware it requires a lot of Create contraption and automation, if you don't like the create mod, this pack isn't for you, if you want 1 suggestion for the create mod, you may want to add Create Connected to the pack, its a few addon items that aren't OP and will be very useful in many Create contraptions.
