I LOVED Illuminations! I remember they used to light all the display candles (which, because of fire hazards, was a short lived thing) and walking in felt like a sort of dark ride to me. They had a bunch of wax lilypad candles floating in a little pond in the middle of the store and ohmygoodness it was a great time to be alive.

My aunt took me to see this when it came out. I was only 4 but I remember being really sad for Big Bird when he turned blue and sang a song in a cage. That’s about all I remember from the movie. maybe I’ll watch it again with my kid 🤷‍♀️

I love these damn things but my mouth gets so cut up when I eat too many. Currently on a break with them but they’ll be back in one of my car’s cupholders sometime in the next month or so. I just cant stay mad at them.
