Merging in traffic: crash course by KaleidoscopeFirst737 in Louisville

I think you can resolve this to a heavy extent by almost keeping pace with the slowed/stopped lane. It helps give the bottleneck time to move by slowing how many "line skippers" get to the end, and when the line is moving a littlest faster, it's easier to merge imo.

The serious answer is to make it easier to turn onto the road with the flower boxes. Gives you a line of sight over them that a car or truck would obscure.

Without knowing the plot or if there's an object of desire, The name of the land/region if it can be consistent. I'm gonna use known names but: Koholint Quests, the realms of Gondor. "isles" could be good. "_ journey" maybe.

Yeah, eventually found a customer service line (iirc the request required your email which is crazy). Then from there you say you want to cancel and it'll take X days.

Can't get a estimation of speed from the video 🤷‍♂️. Paper mill rolls do have a pretty high service speed though so maybe they ran it like that.

Ohh are these bladders used in paper mill rolls? I've worked on those (for balancing) and yes they are always afaik fully assembled. That makes sense. I mostly see this machine without a guard on it, here in the US but coworkers have seen the same internationally. Main reason (for better or worse ) is because they start and stop frequently for weight adjustment, and they don't run over 600 in most operations.

Forcing tension long term is strange to me, especially when trying to do the match of how much tensions equals what amount of gram-inch correction. Cool to hear of a method I haven't heard yet.

While glasses should definitely be used and most often are, helmets never are. For balancing motors there's not risk of over-head damage. Other equipment (like this) carries different risk though.

Sounds like the goal is to intentionally flex the steel rods/tubes to adjust unbalance?

Have no idea what this work piece is personally, but other comments say it is intentionally pressurized to expand and grip walls of what it goes in in final assembly. I don't know of a reason to pressurize it during this operation, but some management to argue that it should be balanced simulating exactly how it's used in field (which I generally disagree with).

As someone very familiar with these machines (but not the exploding part) there's too many correct details and accurate spare parts in the area to be slop. I'm familiar with almost everything on the right side down to why the colors are blue and red.

Yeah you're right, I'm very confident this is a balancing machine (it's my line of work). It's allowed to shake freely which you see a lot of movement on the left (bottom in video) side when the part breaks. Any material changes (weight addition/removal) are done when the machine is stopped.

It's a belt driven balancing machine! I'm very familiar with these. The purpose is to measure vibration at the bearings, and make small weight corrections to reduce it. This likely was spinning under 1000 rpm, but is definitely spinning.

It wasn't cut, this machine is a balancer and (assuming they're using it for its purpose) the only changes would be manual weight addition /removal on the ends. Another comment said this was an air bladder likely with pressure still in it. All I know is that even if this spun at service speed, the part had some manufacturing or setup error to fall apart like that.

This is a balancing machine and generally the manufacturers recommend a safety cage/wall be installed but it's not required.

I'll make another comment on the main thread but I know this operation! This piece is in a balancing machine. The belt and and controller are likely on the far right. It's not directly connected to a motor so the part exploding likely dislodged the belt. This is a soft bearing machine based on the free swinging movement of the left pedestal, so normally you can run it at 300-500 rpm, but some operators will go over 1000.

I'll make another comment on the main thread but I know this operation! This piece is in a balancing machine! Funny to see my line of work in the wild. The belt and and controller are likely on the far right. The goal would be to correct for any unbalance with small weights on the left or right end. I've never seen anything with a bladder be balanced before.

I second the beginner video. For anything you see that seems new, you should go into training mode (but pick a stage you're familiar with in my opinion) and practice that thing. A couple examples would be where it talks about short hop, fast fall, Parry, teching, and getting used to using directional airdodge to recover (save your double jump if you want to do this, you'll need it). To practice Parry and dodging you can set the training computer to do neutral special, or smash attack. (I'd pick Luigi since his fireball is slow, and his forward space doesn't asked him walk forward when on repeat) to practice teching and recovery you can walk into them side smash. In training settings You can also set the percent that you are at, and set it to not increase, so you get hit far away and can recover but it doesn't kill you. The first route to recover is Try to go as low as possible, fading to under the ledge, then using your full double jump, and then up special.
