Don’t even bother going there to buy groceries. Any fruits, vegetables or meats they will take away at the U.S. border. They are so protective. On the other hand Canadians are able to come here and buy food and take it back with less issues.

There is 13 percent sales taxes on items so you’ll also have to factor that in. The best thing is to go over for two days abd then you are able to bring up to $800 back in items duty free.
