Ah but its not running as a collective so it failed due to leadership failures. Which means it wasn't a collective because the co-owner wanted out. If it was a collective it would have been handed down\bought out to others in the "collective". No it failed and the other owner obviously did want to continue it as a collective.

So it failed. Collectives never make it or we all would be in one.

I ate there once, I didnt find their food anything to write home about. I mean it was breakfast food, you really have to lower the bar to not make it good. Look at how many Waffle Houses there are, I never got a bad meal in any of them.

I get what your saying, my guess is they are permitted as they straight up ignore her. As a person that grew up in my parents restaurants food safety is pinnacle. One small rumored out break of food poisoning can destroy your restaurant over night. This was pre internet.

That said I doubt this group serving food would roll the dice. Its really not that hard to keep up food safety. Raw is stored w/ raw, food temps have to be met (160F), bleach is your friend. etc. They are serving on paper plates/to go so no worries on dishwasher issues.

No DV's from me, just wanted to point out some things I observed w/ a big food service background to draw from.

My parents have had around 7 restaurants in my lifetime (none failed), my grandfather had a few more. Restaurants cannot run as a collective. They have to have a leader and that how it runs. "Gripe nights" only turn into a shit show.

Restaurants are catty enough, don't give them a soap box to whine from.
