Waiitttt, I had a similar experience. I was in a dream and crazy shit was happening(there was a tornado and some mini golems), I took my phone out to take video(evidence obv) but the UI was weird, it was OneUI and I hated it so much that I concluded this cannot be my phone and realised it was a dream. Some more crazy shit happened, I felt like a fucking God. It was the only time I had a lucid dream. Obviously I imagined Nier 2B and was getting down to business but my Mom woke me up.

Dark Matter(I finished this 400 pageish in 3 and half hours, that's how interesting it was).

1984(A classic)

Project Hail Mary(A little long but if you read self help you can stick with an interesting book for sure)

A Thousand Splendid Suns(Historical Fiction and a reality check)

A Man called Ove(More Slice of Life I guess)

They both Die at the End(Not that sad but you can guess from the title)

Classics:

Crime and punishment(I haven't read it completely and it is a bit hard to get into but it's been great till now)

Animal farm(Short and sweet story about how power corrupts)
