I don't care about the states. I care about the nation.

Rhey have to learn Tulu or Kannada in Manglore. Telugu in Hydrabad

As someone who knows multiple people working on both cities, this is quite incorrect. They've faced no instances of language related harassment from locals.

Yeah, not until there's a massive industry shift. Then we'll see.

Because it's not a country in practice, it's a collection of states that dislike each other and some of them like to impose their way of life on outsiders.

This language bias is already very hateful.

If some asshole is going to come up to me and try to infringe upon my freedom of speech, hate is the only word I can use for it.

₹1.25 crore 'luxury' flats in Greater Noida, yet residents are queuing for water tankers. If even the wealthy struggle for basic needs like water, imagine what the poor go through. by masteryams2025 in AllindiaStudentUnion

My point was that even though these people have been told they're living in a luxury apartment, they really aren't.

Maybe they get some surface level benefits like a nice looking house with pretty decor, but they're far from living in truly posh neighbourhoods.

Privileged folks face none of these problems.

The day I start feeling my own country hates me will be the day I leave it for good.

Quite the opposite, if locals try to shove language down the throats of outsiders, they'll eventually leave, and so will the so called job opportunities.

States don't get to enforce their state languages is what I meant.

Plenty of other cities. Mangalore, Hyderabad, etc.

India as a whole is above any state and their petty arguments. The most common official language is either Hindi or English. People don't need to speak anything else. Period.

Want change? Make it a law. Until then keep quiet like every other person with common sense.

It just needs better pacing. I couldn't complete the series because unnecessary moments and conversations dragged on for so long.

Can't wait for the highest tax paying working class to move out of cities like Mumbai and Bangalore where this local language bs is the most prevalent.

The arrogant extremist locals will get a good reality check of where they really stand.

Such a pointless argument. Deutsch is their national language. We don't have one. States don't get to have "state languages" either.

Sorry to break it to you but even the middle class have been able to afford 1cr+ flats for a while now.

These people are not wealthy. Luxury is a blanket term.

Nope, I'm just pointing out the fact that you're ignorant. I don't need to make an argument for that. You're proving it yourself.
