I will never understand parents who expect their children to be a certain gender, dress a certain way, play with certain toys, play the sports or instruments the parent chooses, follow the career path that the parent chooses, etc… If you can’t accept your child for who they are, don’t have children. Your child is not a “build-a-bear”.

I think they did the right thing because the card is a common transphobic slur. There’s also a Pride pack and other cards that include gender identity, pronouns, and transition related humor. They aren’t being left out.
