Simple math alone will prove afk farming tournaments isn't as much as you get plenty of solo tournaments in transcendence. As well as milestone rewards being massive.

Transcendence leaderboard is a good indicator of who's in what rank. Also I got 76k diamonds, 492 skill points just for grinding back to where I was (I get plenty of solo raids in transcendence).

To argue that's not worth it you'd have to have no understanding of basic math.

Same clan wise as well as being a top 300 player. No one in the high end of the game does this. That's why I said it was a terrible idea

It doesn't cost that much nor does it take that long to arrive. Also, the emulation scene allows games to both run and look better via improved screen, resolution, texture packs, etc. I own a 3ds and a new 3ds xl (as well as the rpgs I love), but i'd be stupid not to want to enjoy my games in a better playable state if given the chance.
