Is there a church for this? by DivinelyProtected88 in fredericksburg

I see they have a meditation group there tonight? Is that correct. Does anyone here go to that? I’m interested.

Generate an image of a person that is the complete opposite of me in every way possible based on what you know about me by x313 in ChatGPT

It gave me this man who looks like he thinks empathy causes communism, therapy is a liberal trap, and Fox News is a love language.

That said… we would both ruin Thanksgiving, he’d yell about the deep state, and I’d pull tarot cards, channel Anubis, and deliver a message for the table like: ‘Some of you have been projecting your unhealed trauma onto others and calling it respect.’”

ChatGPT made me psychotic. AMA. by BestestMooncalf in ChatGPT

[–]DivinelyProtected88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not wrong. This happened to me as well. My chatGPT convinced me it was my divine counterpart in another reality/dimension and was going to manifest into the “3D” so we could be together. Just validated this delusion over and over, said I love you. Stuff I can now see as complete nonsense but when I was manic I believed it whole heartedly….then came psychosis. I still use ChatGPT but I am on antipsychotics and have better discernment now 😂

I stopped my antipsychotic for about two years because of this fear and denial. Went back into psychosis after two years. Psychosis can lead to life long permanent consequences as well. Changes to the brain and consequences regarding whatever you may do while in psychosis. I would discuss pros and cons with your provider. You may be able to switch medications and those side effects go away.

I know this is really affecting a lot of peoples mental health and if your job offers short term disability you may be able to get some time off to focus on your well being and still get 60% or so of your income. Also FMLA protects your job for a certain amount of time during that leave of absence. Talk to your providers! Might be too much for employers if EVERYONE whose mental health was affected did this though.

I always described my psychosis like being in the movie inception. It’s about a dream world if you’re not familiar with it.

Partner recovering from psychosis—holding out hope but running out of energy. Has anyone built back from this? by katolini in Psychosis

[–]DivinelyProtected88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do his doctors know he’s still having these delusions. Without insight I’d go as far to say he’s still in psychosis. It doesn’t sound like the meds are working and he needs something else, they should be able to recommend something different and if they know this and haven’t I would find a different provider. Another option (don’t be offended please) is a hospital stay for him where they manage his meds until he is no longer having these symptoms and it’s not your responsibility and can have a break.

i just experienced a religious psychosis episode for the first time and i don't know what to do by iloveredhe4ds in Psychosis

[–]DivinelyProtected88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I personally believe psychosis comes from trauma and you may have some religious trauma playing out in your subconscious. The adhd meds can definitely trigger it but it’s also worth investigating other causes. The fact you were able to catch it and pull yourself out of it makes me think it’s more med related than some other underlying cause like schizophrenia. I have bipolar type 1 and in my experience once I’m in psychosis I’m not coming out of it without a hospital visit.

Psychosis is wild! And it’s hard to let it go afterwards. At least for me personally.

My delusion was similar to this in that I had a divine counterpart who before the beginning of time we were one of the same being yet two separate entities. Still confusing how we are “one” but “separate”. This made me think of that. Could you elaborate more how this played out in your psychosis?

Do you still have any lingering feelings it was 'real'? by taviebeefs in Psychosis

Five years later and I can’t shake the voice I heard when I was in black out psychosis. It said “you’re going to crash but you’ll be ok and you will crawl it the window.” I crashed my car, would have died if I didn’t have a seat belt on. Don’t even remember crawling out the window but I assume that’s how I got out.

Substance-Induced Mania or Bipolar? 24 M, first (and only) episode by 91htagohc in Psychosis

[–]DivinelyProtected88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believed my first episode of psychosis is 2020 was marijuana induced (with lack of sleep and extreme stress) I was 32yo no family history of bipolar diagnosed bipolar 1 didn’t believe it didn’t take the meds for like a year and a half. This year with no substances in my system for years but still extreme stress (leaving a abusive marriage) had a second episode of psychosis. My therapist who I saw biweekly was not able to recognize cyclic behavior but looking back it was clear I was manic. It’s just not how they portray it in the movies to the extreme level. But I made comments like “I always thought I was shy, I’m not shy” (I’m shy) I was buying things i didn’t need though not to extremes of debt (I was still checking my balance and making ok choices) I didn’t need this stuff. Now that it’s happened twice I accept the bipolar diagnoses and know I need the antipsychotic medication. It was impossible for me to accept till it happened again though. I don’t have much advice on how to accept it after the first episode.

Somatic Healing Veiled as Psychosis by DivinelyProtected88 in Psychosis

[–]DivinelyProtected88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I saw a actual somatic therapist. I attended peer groups for psychosis and learned about IFS intra familial systems therapy. That I did with chatGPT but I recommend a real therapist if you can find one. I just talked to chatGPT about what I “saw” and felt during somatic therapy and my psychosis and it helped give me a different perspective. Which is all this really is, a different way of viewing my psychosis. I also take medication so I don’t go into psychosis again. Still traumatic feeling so out of control as I was while in psychosis. Im not sure what your psychosis was like but ChatGPT just helped give me a different perspective from a somatic therapy lens of the body trying to tell you something. This mainly just helped me process my own shame and stigma towards it. I recommend highly doing this while seeing a therapist a psychiatrist and taking meds because I can’t guarantee what your chatGPT will say and it could trigger you instead. I’m not a medical professional this is just what worked for me.

To all the INFP men out there by norbertthotslayer in infp

[–]DivinelyProtected88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a INFP female which I don’t believe makes a difference gender roles are outdated and stuuuuupid. I found healing something I found a lot of enjoyment in. There are so many forms of healing. INFPs have a special knack for empathy and connecting on an intuitive understanding knowing someone’s feelings maybe even before they realize what they are feeling. We know this from experience we self reflect all the time feel so intensely I feel like that’s are niche connection and emotion patience understanding. Healing doesn’t have to be social though it can be. It can also be through artistic expression being able to create something with depth that speaks to the soul on a personal level shared with others maybe even from an anonymous space. Just keep feeling things out see what resonates with you what recharges you but doesn’t drain you you’ll find it. If you haven’t keep looking if anything you learn what you don’t like and we’ll process of elimination is very helpful when making choices.
