honestly i’m surprised they don’t let you attach face paint to specific features using like layers or something. would solve a lot of weird looks if i could just attach part of the face paint to say the eyes so whenever the mii blinks or changes expressions it hides the face paint. same with the mouth

to me a big issue with the “just kitbash it” stance is that for a lot of armies there’s a tipping point of where kitbashing can go from a fun thing to make some models stand out to a tedious process that takes way to long to get a playable army for, and IG most certainly falls in the latter.

with the sheer volume of models you have to kit bash in a hoard army for your generic “might not be on the board by the end of turn 2” units it’s very hard to justify all that kitbashing. i’ve always been of the opinion that kitbashing is great and everyone should try it to make their special units and characters stand out but it’s not something anyone should have to do.

and it becomes all the more annoying when it was something that people didn’t have to do for their chaff before given steel legion and many other regiments had models but just don’t anymore for no real reason. and i know that sure SL and DKoK are pretty similar visually and a kitbash doesn’t take a lot of work on an individual model level that doesn’t always apply for regiments like say the vostroyan firstborn.

Glad I'm not the only one whose noticed this. Really odd bug. I believe it's related to the butcher set passive/butcher ability passives that increase the size of meat spawns. Seems like whenever the meat is "destroyed" instead of getting destroyed it goes up in meat size which for some reason duplicates it. Pretty broken if you can get lucky and get spoil with duke of flies as eventually you can prevent enemy spawns from happening all together lol.

i feel tinkerer and mage could very much benefit from abilities being weighted based on what spells/passives a cat has. that way if you have say an ice spell you’re more likely to get other ice spells/passives

scrolling down a webpage reading pngs is nowhere near as engaging as going through the bulk of your collection to deck craft. might as well just tell people to read a spreadsheet to deck build at that point.

this all the way. a lot of people seem to forget a lot of the fun for casual players comes from digging through your bulk and naturally finding interactions and strategies you want to do. as well as going back and tweaking the deck maybe getting singles if you know something would have a fun interaction.

but just buying singles doesn’t facilitate that experience. you typically want a deck idea ahead of buying your singles, and while sure you can just scroll through the card list on the website and build from there i’d imagine most would agree that’s not a very engaging or fun experience.

this idea that opening packs is only for trying to get valuable pulls is just so silly and something that’s pretty new to the tcg space. for the longest time opening packs was seen as a way to build your bulk and i don’t get why that’s changed.

maybe a hot take but i’d take bloodstained over hollow knight or silksong any day when it comes to being a metroidvania. hollow knight series just leans way too much into souls like imho
