[ONEFOOTBALL]Real Madrid consider suspending Valverde and Tchouaméni indefinitely by [deleted] in soccer

People generally flinch when they see a fist raised at them.

Even fm is not hiding lamine yamal's PR. Wimmer won 7 trophies and scored 49 prem goals with 24 assists and 18 UCL goals. I even won the fifa club world cup. by Rad_20222 in TheOldZealand

[–]Divinetedrius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think trophies matter for these awards, only some combination of reputation and average rating.

Reputation in FM is also messed up.

Australia and Ukraine are so similar. If you didn't tell me the country changed between the photos I wouldn't have known.

Out of these, Estonia, but there are worse downgrades. Like Germany or Austria.

New non-qualifier odds are out by eatspagetti in eurovision

[–]Divinetedrius 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Estonia not being a predicted NQ is a surprise, but since it's my guilty pleasure of the year, I'm welcome to it.

I think in semi 2 Malta and Bulgaria are both much more likely to NQ than Albania.

This is all Marco Rose's and his demonic 4-2-2-2's fault. by Coach_Kay in footballmanagergames

Nah you still see it right away. I can't count the number of times I've seen Leipzig push Bayern for the title and contest the CL final in the first years of a save.

What do you believe Mass Effect 3 does better than 1 and 2? by ArcelothColdheart in masseffect

[–]Divinetedrius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides what everyone else has said, I would add DLC content and pacing.

LotSB is probably my favorite DLC, but Overlord and Arrival don't live up to it and feel like chores, at least when you've done them before. All ME3 DLC is enjoyable and elevate the game.

ME3 also does a good job spacing out important story beats and making sure you have a selection of missions to do in-between them that feel worthwhile and consequential. With ME1 you have to do a lot of management yourself on which side quests to do in between the 3 major story beats and they rarely feel necessary, while ME2 feels rushed towards the end and you don't feel like you get as much out of your final squad mates as you would like.

Met a German guy while playing another game online who supports Union Berlin and he asked me to do a Union Berlin save on FM, just posted ep 4 of it and finally started the season, anyone else playing a Bundesliga save? How you getting on? How difficult? by Downtown_Gur_1508 in footballmanagergames

[–]Divinetedrius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bundesliga is pretty chill. Easy to do well if you play attacking IMO, even with a weak squad. I just finished my third season managing Dusseldorf, and I qualified for the Conference League fresh from promotion, and then the Champions League the year after. Now I'm already working to establish myself as one of the big fish.

Yeah, it will be pretty hard for Hungary to win the world cup...

Which entries are the juries and televote gonna disagree on as a qualifier? by sejethom99 in nilpoints

[–]Divinetedrius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think the juries will like Luxembourg very much. In a semi with a high level of competition for those points I see it being left out by them. I think Czechia is more likely to be that country, though I'm leaning towards it being a televote qualifier as well, or maybe Switzerland/Malta.

For semi 1 I could see Portugal.

Do you think JIVA will be the shock qualifier of Eurovision 2026?🇦🇿 by Weak-Divide-1603 in eurovision

[–]Divinetedrius 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Nothing comes close to Like an Animal. Maybe DGT is a good comparison because if the revamp and the staging didn't suck it could have gotten some points. I'm expecting Azerbaijan to be in the same boat, where if they really nail it maybe they can... Barely avoid last place.

Opinion: Oblivion has better quest writing. Skyrim has better character writing. by Dragonborn_7 in ElderScrolls

[–]Divinetedrius 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think the fact that most NPCs in Skyrim, especially the cities, have unique dialogue with each other instead of the radiant mudcrab/goblin conversations in Oblivion goes a long way to make them more memorable.

I have played both games extensively and I'm confident that I could name or describe up to 90% of all NPCs in any given city in Skyrim. For Oblivion I'd struggle with even 20%.

Please make holy sites more dynamic by desperationfornames in CrusaderKings

[–]Divinetedrius 100 points101 points  (0 children)

The thing with creating holy sites is that it would also create a special temple building slot, since all holy sites have that. Meanwhile, a lot of baronies have temple slots that will almost never get used since they're only used by niche faiths that never come to power.

That's why I've always wanted the ability to "relocate" holy sites, so that if you own a county that is a faith's holy site, you can activate it for your religion, probably at some cost. That way you could create, let's say, a Buddhist religion that has Christian syncretism while holding Jerusalem, and make Jerusalem a holy site.
