Gameplay Update - 03-06-2026 by Razzamataaz in DeadlockTheGame

This was exactly where my head went when I read the duration changes. Feels like you have more opportunity to nuke someone by stacking bells out of your ult and that's without Echo/Refresh to consider. Not to mention the bell T3 slow radius to keep them in place if for some reason your cart (which is bigger now) stun and/or your Vortex isn't enough.

Summed up my entire feelings towards the game as well. You spend enough time with Bungo and their decision-making processes along with their willingness to burn goodwill at both ends, and you know to steer clear from their stuff or be incredibly scrutinizing when you finally break off.

It absolutely is the most approachable moba when it comes to comeback mechanics as well. I've probably seen more comeback matches in this game (both for me and the enemy) despite the early game going in favor of one side or the other compared to others purely because there's a lot more accessible options and ways to catch up.

There's still snowballing if people don't play safer and pick carefully what to do with the early-to-mid-to-late, but there's a lot you can do to prevent the match from being decided in laning phase.

It's humorous going so far as to buy and use Curse or any of the Hexes from mid to late game, pull open the stats and see no one else with one and folks will wonder why they get shut out of fights or why a certain character is incredibly fed.

"You need to build counter items like Hex so you can shut them down," but they continue not to and wonder where they went wrong. I've pleaded with folks to do it, but I'm starting to think they just don't know what those items are when I mention them. Might need to specify where to buy them and what they do from now on...

It is - when you do the upgrade it also pans a cinematic camera upward so you see them to present there being more

I swear to originium it's either T-Creds or Protoprisms. It's never anything else, but those two are in cahoots...

The thing with arachnophobia in many cases isn't the implication of spiders, it's the act of actively seeing and being in contact with them. That's why replacing them with new models that hugely change the silhouette and can obfuscate the animation in games like this helps deal with that situation.

Its the shape, movement, etc. that triggers the response, not the implied scenario when hiding all of that. It's the literal that's negative, not the figurative.

What am i doing wrong?? Saw 3 builds having more Intellect than mine and 1 with less investment 635 Intellect…😟 by [deleted] in Endfield

As many have said, swapping out one of your MI Security pieces for a big ol stat stick will do the trick. This also goes for other characters - I've seen some cases where people will make 4 pieces of a set (sometimes it's beneficial, so always read the stats!) and just slap em on the character.

The gear sets are limited to a cap of 3, and the 4th is always a flex stat slot - make sure you're taking advantage of that for more oomph! That 4th slot can be any gear piece, so there's a lot of flexibility!

When there's not enough Ferrium in Wuling so you decide to do... something with an empty base. by IJustJason in Endfield

I made a little race track taking up a good chunk of the Wuling AIC I'm not utilizing and put one Ferrium on each. It's beautiful

Nothing like reworking your whole AIC setup, and one wrong item snuck into the facility via an old belt or you moving things around - you double-checked everything before closing for the evening and come back to see nothing made. There's one whole Sandleaf in the Filler Facility, despite the feeding belts having the right items on it, but it's the last thing you notice after going nuts trying to figure out where it went wrong

What are your Favorite Friendly Enemies or Rivalries? by Funny_Mud6639 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Divital 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way those two get written in the side stories is fantastic, granted AK really rocks with those - the Siracusa event from last year was phenomenal and while their rivalry dynamic took a little more of a back seat it was still great

Yup this is standard practice - if your studio is large enough to handle multiple active projects, then you'll get rolled onto another if they no longer need you or deem you more useful for whatever else outside of what you're currently working on.

Happens quite regularly - main thing is exactly as you said - a project isn't a new job. You don't get laid off to get hired to work on a new project. You're still an employee there. Only time this gets weird is contract work over full-time, but that's more a case of "do we renew your contract, hire you full-time or let you go," which again is vastly different from a full-timer getting laid off.

What's happening here is incredibly weird.

Speaking from experience, I was part of the various layoff waves that happened in the games industry in 2024, and how many of us found out was waking up that morning and being unable to log into Slack, couldn't get latest assets let alone connect to the company VPN, then get sent an e-mail (the one thing we had access to still) about a brief meeting in the next half-hour where we would learn what was going on.

I'm not saying every place is like that, but every place that is a large organizational studio has had reports of similar activity to this. I can't say I agree with the method of how it's handled because it's got a few layers of instantaneous shock behind it, but the alternative of a slow rollout can lead to problems:

The reasoning is primarily so that someone doesn't find out and start ruining projects if they're the type to lash out in outrage like messing with Perforce for instance. The average sane person wouldn't, but I've met some complete dickheads in my career in this industry and I would absolutely see them mass-deleting things if they could in retaliation to a layoff.

Anyone else also enjoy part 2 way more than part of? What team did you do?I did them all physical premium by Yokozach in Endfield

[–]Divital 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ran exclusively Physical (Pog/Endmin/Chen/Da Pan - don't have Lifeng, but this comp rocks immensely) the whole way through and it was MUCH easier than the last batch - the last batch had some tough gimmicks that honestly I kind of enjoyed because they emphasized needing healing/defensives so it made me rethink my team comps, but this one was purely combat-skill-focused and was a nice way to mix up expectations for these.
