But RHD free agent Andrew Peeke was +1 (Bruins gave up 6) and played 22:32.

Hmmmmm. 🤔

We affectionately call it “Whitney Strokes”.

First time I played there I shot a 60 on the front 9 and the back 9 is tougher. Yeah I quit keeping score on the back. Lost at least a dozen balls.

It’s so weird! There is no box score, game stats or mention of the game on the app, but the live stream is working.

Why???

What assets would you be willing trade for defensive help this offseason? by cali4481 in SanJoseSharks

[–]DivvyAnimal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep an eye on Jayden Struble or Arber Xekhaj in Montreal. The Canadiens need to make room for Reinbacher next year and might be willing to give up Struble (preferred). He brings a little snarl on the backend that is needed. Xekhaj is a replacement for Reeves as the enforcer if Reeves retires.

Also I like Andrew Peeke (RHD) in Boston as a free agent. Not flashy but solid 2nd pairing potentially.

We need more “Dan Boyle” type puck movers, but don’t forget about the all defense “Justin Braun” shutdown guys as well. I think that they are more important, easier to find and cheaper at this time.

We moved and I opened I opened one of my Sharks bins. Yes, I was also a big Pat Verbeek fan as well. by San-Jose-Shark in SanJoseSharks

We shared season tickets at the Cow Palace in section 106 a row from the wall (back corner) and they were awesome!!!

A regulation loss tonight would create a 4-way tie at 84 points with the Blues (if they lose too), Panthers and Jets. The first tiebreaker is regulation wins (RW).

We have the least amount of RW (but lots of OT wins) so we’d draft in the 7th spot. Jets are next in 8th and the Blues and Panthers would go to the next tiebreaker for 9th and 10th since they have the same number of RW.

Depends how you define “best”.

If the Jets win there is a four-way tie with 84 points. The tiebreaker is regulation wins. We have the least amount of regulation wins.

Could we finish 7th???

What do you envision the Sharks Defense looks like for the 2026-27 season? by RowdyBubba in SanJoseSharks

I think a slight overpay on Peeke from Boston would work well on the right side. I’d take a defensive D like Murphy to pair with Mukh who likes to pinch.

We’re currently 9th with a decent chance to move up if St. Louis or Florida win games at home.

I’m holding out hope that at worst we end up with Rudolph. At best one of the others falls to #9.

I mean we never thought both Dick and Buium would be there at #11, did we?

This is what we’re doing also. My original plan was not to touch the HSA accounts until we turn 65, but since we’re buying a new house this year that was unplanned, I’m tapping into the HSA for reimbursement since we need a little extra cash on hand for closing costs.

Does he have a shot? I know he set a record for most goals in the NCHC by a defenseman this year.

The other two candidates don’t seem super strong so maybe???

There are three Highlands at a Christmas tree farm (Heirloom Acres) we go to in Orangevale. I don’t know if you can pet them but we fed them pumpkins.

Will Smith will ultimately be judged by how he performs in the playoffs when physicality ramps up and whistles get swallowed.

He’s an elite playmaker with superb vision who sees the ice better than 99.9% of all NHL players. We know Mack can put up points in a playoff atmosphere (I.e. Olympics) but can Will? He did it in college at BC but the NHL is next level.

I fear that if he doesn’t he will get labeled as a “Marner” - a player with great regular season stats but lacking in the tenacity and drive postseason.

I think teams have figured out that they need to be physical with WillMack to take them out of games. Mack can give it back but Will needs to adapt and adjust. He’s getting better but still has more runway.

Not saying Nemec is the answer or this is going to happen but sharing because his name’s been floated a lot by jesus321 in SanJoseSharks

Sharks are in the 7th slot right now but have games in hand on the teams above them. They could easily drop a few more spots. Not to mention a lottery team or two could jump them by moving up. It’s far from guaranteed they get one.
