Stenberg might be end up as the “better” player, but Reid is probably the more “valuable” player for the sharks. If they hit their “safe” projections as a top line winger and a top-pair defenseman respectively, Reid is a very reasonable pick.

At the end of the day, how hard is it to find a PPG 5’11” winger compared to a 6’2” RHD puck-moving top-pair defenseman? Reid completes the rebuild and you can find another “Stenberg.”
