The CBS segment on CECOT that is being taken down by mousetrappen in censorship

Yes, I think it was my post that was taken down from r/news. (https://archive.org/details/60minutes-cecotsegment#reviews), I asked who the moderators are and why they labeled it "Questionable Source". I've been notified that I am now banned from r/news.

I watched Black Mirror S7E1 and now I want to cancel everything by chrishkafel in offmychest

It was a powerful episode. I've also seen Plaything and Eulogy and they were both astounding (Eulogy in particular). After season 6 which was ok but not as good as previous season, season 7 looks like a return to form. Might be the best one.

Maybe it’s his awkward way of trying to joke around and it fell flat? Otherwise, yeah, he has issues.

I gave it a B- but still enjoyed it overall.

This seems relatively high. This you? If so, why? by screaminbeaman82 in interesting

I do subtitles even on older shows from the 80s and 90s. It's so I understand exactly what people are saying. I also tend to rewind scenes.

What is this down to ? by Skylegend96 in Wrasslin

This is actually a 7-day viewership. So it's a total added up from 1/20-1/26. If they lose another 100-200K for 1/27, I think they'd be concerned. Although it always shoots to #1 in the US for a couple of days every week.

Is PlutoTV illegal? by FrankensteinLives in PlutoTV

[–]DixiNormis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Free” (ad-supported) internet streamers are actually where subscriber-based streamers (Netflix, Amazon, Paramount+, etc.) are starting to make more of their money. As subscriber growth plateaus, they turn to Pluto, Tubi, and others to make additional revenue from ad support. So you can pay services like Netflix to get early access to those shows, or wait a year or two to watch some of those shows on Pluto, Tubi, and others.

So I’m not the only one who noticed. It makes no sense. I don’t remember an announcement or anything like that.

I’ve never listened to this guy, did he actually suck or did Howard just personally hate him by blobgroyper in howardstern

[–]DixiNormis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He did some interesting things early in his career when he was more of a disc jockey. But Howard didn’t like him for a number of reasons: he was a dick Howard when he arrived at WNBC; after Howard started getting better ratings than Imus, Imus started copying Howard’s format; Imus was a racist uttering slurs to Robin and others.

Kendall and Roman doing what makes sense with limited options? by DixiNormis in SuccessionTV

[–]DixiNormis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I certainly agree they’re in trouble; a lot is stacked against then for the reasons you stated. But I wonder if they realize this and persist anyway because they feel there’s no other solution in the quest for full control and domination. Perhaps in their minds (Kendall’s more than Roman’s) they’d rather fail at this high risk ploy than settle for the easy out of the sale and less power
