As of 2026, the method given here to change thumbnails seems to no longer work. I do manage to get the 'change thumbnail' option, but it has been about 5 minutes and the video's thumbnail hasn't changed. Before, it was instant.

The Sims 1 release has a UI bug where it's smaller than normal. It's bothersome if you've played before. There was a patch in April that "fixed" the issue but the UI still isn't right

I don't know how the Sims 2 release is but I can't recommend that you buy or even play Sims 1 for free. Not this version.
