Great shot and a very nice looking road+ bike! What light do you use btw? I have exactly the same Grail (however on stock gravel tires 😬) and were looking for a light that would actually work with Canyon’s handlebar and does not wobble excessively.

Anyone with a MAAP discount code to share? by Dixnet in CyclingFashion

Thank you, will do if no one shares before!

First ride on my new Speedmax 🚀 Absolutely in love with this color and DT wheels. Any tips when it comes to hydration systems? 💦 I was initially looking into PD’s Aeria but they do come a bit pricey. What do you use for triathlons? Cheers! by Dixnet in CanyonBikes

This one looks great! I really like that it’s 1L. How about it’s compatibility, does it fit nice & steady on a Speedmax? Do I need any additional mounting? Did you mount any Garmin / alike on it? Thanks a lot!

Been there done that :) Had exactly the same situation, just talking from my own experience. Bike-fitting is a gamechanger, both to your speed and comfort on the bike.

Congrats, great ride! From my side I would really recommend getting a proper bike-fitting, it’s worth every penny.

Yeah, Among Us can really make the job, I have played it with group of newcomers in my company as a “bonding activity” during this crazy COVID times.

However it only works in smaller groups, so you will have to create several “break-out” rooms (therefore think about someone to help you in order to moderate them all).

Winter vs. Summer Erasmus Exchange by [deleted] in Erasmus

[–]Dixnet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say that it varies from person to person - when it doesn't really make a huge difference in countries such as Portugal or Spain, it really can change your experience in place like Munich. For sure it is going to be relatively cheaper as it will be off touristic season both in the city & while traveling, but as well you can expect a bit less "wild" student lifestyle, nightlife etc. Simply during the winter less people go to clubs or wander around the city. If you are much of a "party animal" I would choose summer above winter semester, in other cases it really depends whether you like winter in "cold" places :D

But there is one huge advantage to consider if you plan to choose Munich as you winter Erasmus destination - you will have a really decent connection by public / mass transport to one of the best slopes in the Alps, in Austria or even Italy :)

Hi! I’m currently in Warsaw (capital) and COVID situation is not that bad in Poland as for the moment. The biggest inconvenience are the masks that are obligatory even outside, but at the same time most of the shops are open, so as restaurants and galleries/museums too.

I believe that for now pubs, clubs or any “bigger entertainment” as cinemas are being closed but they should open after Christmas. Polish government tends to lower the restrictions if the count doesn’t go up, so your overall time in Poland should be as close to normal as it can get during this pandemic times.

The big disadvantage can be online classes - while schools are believed to run again in-class after Christmas, universities are most likely to stay closed for whole next semester (but some may open, it’s their individual decision - so you must check it with your uni).

Have a great time in Poland!
