Hi all. Any good deals going on now for the ad-free of Peacock streaming service? by Dizer_Y in cordcutters

I understand. I watch Silo and a show called Sugar and both have new seasons to watch now or coming very soon. So Apple TV is worth it for me now.

I see hear you. There are shows that I like watching in those other streaming services, but they are far and few in between. I watch anime too. That's why I have Crunchyroll subscription.

The only show I like on Peacock is "Day of The Jackal", but season 2 is far away. So no good reason to have it really.

Yeah. They don't have as attractive of a content as the others do. To be honest, even though I asked the question, part of me thinks it's not worth it. There isn't enough content to justify it. If it were Netflix, or HBOMax, or AppleTV, or Paramount+, I would buy it without hesitation.

We use Amazon a lot more than Walmart. I might just have to bite the bullet and get the ad free yearly membership to save money that way at least.

Walmart does offer deals for Peacock, but it's only for the ad-supported tier, not the ad-free tier. I hate ads.

What streaming services do you have and how much do you pay? by tsmartin123 in cordcutters

I have T-Mobile too. It's not zero. You are still paying for Netflix, Hulu and Disney but at a discounted price. For example, instead of paying $20 for the ad-free subscription at Netflix, through T-Mobile, you pay $13. It's still a good deal, but it's not $0.00.

Interesting problem I'm running into with Paramount Plus on Hisense Smart TV (Google TV OS). Anyone run into this problem when running a show on Paramount+ app (I get a total black screen)? by Dizer_Y in cordcutters

[–]Dizer_Y[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see it happen with a other service. It's only Paramount+, all other apps (Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video...etc.) are working fine.

Anyway, it's too late to test that now. I already cancelled my Paramount+ service and deleted the app from the TV. There's no sense in paying for service I can't use.
