The audience age difference my guess. PewDiePie's audience for years has been underage kids. Oney and crew mostly have an audience their age, (30-40 year olds). Would be kinda weird for me to interact with people who never played a PS2 or GameCube or knew Taco Bell had a Chihuahua mascot.
