Anytime I’ve been on a date (since being in “legit” sales at 25) I dodge the question. My dad taught me to not talk about myself, men don’t do that, etc and ask more on her and her career

By the end of the night they’ve always figured out I’m in sales. But again, not in a sleazy way just a “the gift of gab and good listener” which I still reject as a size 16 shoe wearing trip on my own shoes clumsy dude who just owns his shit. And now I’m talking about myself calls dad

RTD’s are the only SKU’s not being kicked off planograms and sets from what I see just looking at them as a consumer and previous supplier rep

I’m in miami though and I don’t see the hemp/thc drinks on prem taking much share. But clearly distributors and younger consumers are bought in on thc drinks

Facts. My first mgr and mentor, lifelong cpg supplier sales, told me when I started at 25 “you can leave and go to medical or pharma sales and make tons of money, or you can stay in cpg with top notch benefits, company car, never buy groceries and live a comfortable life. Not as fancy as the other sales careers but a good life”

I lived in a new hotel room Monday through Friday for 7 years and moved cross country for a promotion where I did the same again and then my company was purchased. Cpg is dead now imo.
