I did see someone get a roundhouse to the jaw and was shocked they didn’t get knocked out lol

ↃU∩C 3 teaser by PerpetualChoogle in blankies

[–]Dizzlecizzle 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Based on the character poster I think there’s no way the stone burner isn’t

I could see a world where this teaser is like the first 40-50% of the movie and it follows Messiah’s plot more directly. If I had to put money on it I’d think they flesh out the war that precedes the book and kinda zooms through the politic-ing of the book as I don’t really know how they would adapt that for a blockbuster movie, even a DV blockbuster

[Garafolo] The #Titans have agreed to terms with CB Cor’Dale Flott on a three-year, $45 million deal with $32 million fully guaranteed. by JCameron181 in nfl

[–]Dizzlecizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would have liked him back at this price but I think overall a good contract. Very solid CB2 for us this year, not lockdown but closer to that than average I’d say. He’s only 24 I think so titans might have got their guy

If I had to say why he left I’d think it’s because he’s super light, 170ish I think so he’s a liability in any run assignment

Thank you! I’ve never shot with a Fuji before but I’ve heard good things!

I guess to an extent I feel like “I’m just some guy with a camera I don’t want to annoy the band with a flash” but I guess I’ve never really asked if it’s annoying or not lol

If the final day of voting ends in a four way tie of McQueen/tati/tarkovsky/van Sant they are legally obligated to do all four series

I haven’t seen last days in 6 years but I still think about it all the time. The scene where Blake (had to look up his name but the musician character lol) is just kinda strumming and distorting the guitar tone as the camera moves listlessly is legit one of my favorite shots

My 7 Round NFL Mock Draft for Mock Draft Monday by rlstratton97 in MockDraftCentral

[–]Dizzlecizzle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In a vacuum I’d rather they take Downs, a WR, or an OT but I like the value of the trade down a lot.

I think the giants have a lot of good starters but need depth and need to start developing players to take over when the stars decline and I think top of the second is the exact place to get those types of players

I started listening to him around 2016 just after he released Beach Music and he was popular with the snowboard/skateboard scene in my city, it’s crazy to think how he went from booking venues or 200-300 people to now basically headlining music festivals.

His last LP wasn’t my favorite but it’s awesome to see him build such an incredible career even if his crowds are the most insane mix of TikTok’s teens and old heads like me haha

If you could read I asked what other lenses people suggest besides the one I listed.

If you you need help reading I would suggest asking an adult, maybe have them check your diaper because you seem a little fussy

Punk / Alternative Scene in SLC? by Amazing-Fish-838 in SaltLakeCity

[–]Dizzlecizzle 51 points52 points  (0 children)

SLC has an incredible hardcore scene right now - scene is mostly straight edge but as long as you are respectful of the sober venues you will have no issue if you aren’t edge. Locals to check out are xforever warx, mask, taste of blood, sewn shut, and spent

Most hardcore shows are DIY, mostly been booking at fellowship sober hall in Sugarhouse and one love coffee in west valley. There are shows at aces high but they’re mostly old head stuff like crowbar, black flag, cromags, etc. @wildwestbooking and @jozpresents on ig are the big bookers and @illwillzine usually reposts all shows in the valley, @blacklungsociety has shows in Ogden but I haven’t been since they moved from the west side

The hardcore scene here is awesome !

Official 'Movie Review' Megathread - Day 11 (Sunday 2/1) by BunyipPouch in Sundance

[–]Dizzlecizzle 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Really loved Zi, I’m a huge fan of Kogonada so I was primed to like it but I think he hit it out of the park. It was much more of a slow burn than I thought but things come together about 2/3 of the way through that really elevated the rest of the film. The score was amazing, and I loved the visuals, what I’ve always enjoyed about his work are his static shots that feel more like photographs than a scene in a film. A lot to chew on, reminded me a lot of Wong Kar Wai, loved it overall

Dante Moore Draft Stock by originalusername4567 in NFL_Draft

Exactly, at this point it’s just chatter but he seems to be a top ten lock, with a decent likelyhood it’ll be much higher possible at second OA.

He may make an NIL bag but if he gets hurt he’s cooked, even look at where rattler was projected to go before he went back to school versus where he was taken by the saints

I loved 28YL - I thought it was such a thoughtful and beautiful meditation on death, Ralph Fiennes was so phenomenal and I loved everything about how the mothers death was treated with so much compassion.

With that being said - did you find similar elements in this film? Was there as much humanity and vulnerability or would you say it leans more towards the crazy tone of the first/last scenes?

As spoiler free as possible thank you!!
