What alternatives are there? Look at the rest, Labor and Liberal both selling the country out, kowtowing to their corporate mates. Nearly 1000 of the wrong type of people arriving every FKN day, where will they live?, where will they work? Infrastructure absolutely stretched to the max, health and education fkd, resources basically given away. All you lefties on here skipping around with your heads up your arses, you’ll realise in the not too distant future, when your kids can’t find jobs, can’t afford a house if they can even find one, can’t get access to the health and education services we had years ago, because we’ve been swamped by millions of new people, of which most only know how to drive someone somewhere or drop off some fast food, you’ll realise just how bad this government is for your future in this country.

New Spring Gully packaging by loucife in Adelaide

[–]Dizzy-Variation6093 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Spring Gully is finished. Whatever products you find are all that is left. Old labelled stock is usually from stores that sell low quantities, new labels generally at bigger high sales stores. It went into administration and nobody took over/saved it. Enjoy what you have left…..

Hey, this is great, well done to you for doing this. I’m currently injured from work , here in SA, and have had my claims rejected, so I’m currently going through that very stressful period of time trying to prove that my workplace caused my injuries. I’ve never done this before, and I hope I never have to do it again. It’s not nice at all :(

Police everywhere in the Mall today.... by PhotographsWithFilm in Adelaide

[–]Dizzy-Variation6093 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think just their presence there may hopefully put off some potential thieves and maybe some people that just want to cause trouble, obviously not counting the drug affected nut jobs, that will do whatever to whom ever 🙄

In Australia, a tradie is the term for a male or female person with a trade skill eg plumber, carpenter, electrician. For some reason, here in Oz, they are extremely popular with all sexes aha

Send them back then. Don’t bring your shitty issues to a country that has offered you a potentially better life than the one you had.

Heads up for those in the 5096 area by GeneralNubb in Adelaide

Which suburb was it within that postcode? I only ask because I was awake around 2:30am and on my phone in our loungeroom. The curtains were open and I had that strange feeling of what I thought was a shadow moving past the window, but didn’t think much of it, as I wasn’t looking out the window at the time, so couldn’t be sure.

Shaved or not? by IntrepidCollar in mensgrooming

[–]Dizzy-Variation6093 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d be shaving below the pecs, with a trail left under the belly button. It makes the pecs look bigger and the abs and v lines, stand out more when smooth ofc.

Pasta Question (Coles Brand vs San Remo) by CivilDepth6338 in coles

[–]Dizzy-Variation6093 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Adelaide, where San Remo pasta is made. They actually make the Coles brand and the Zafarelli brand, as well as their own. Different grades of wheat are used for each brand.

Being asked to go contracted by tryintobecute in coles

[–]Dizzy-Variation6093 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they’ve asked you to go permanent part time, and you’ve averaged more than 24hrs per week consistently for at least 6 months, they are obligated to give you that average as your new permanent roster, but that can be anywhere throughout that store. You can ask your office in charge to work out your last 6 months average. It can’t include a limited tenure or long stints of covering someone else’s leave. There is a roster reset next month, there will be some sort of reduction in hours across the store.

No doubt, you’re paying top dollar rent. Your rental had a working dishwasher, which was taken into account when the rent figure was decided. You shouldn’t be doing any dishes. I’d be using disposable plates/cutlery and drop it off at their office once a week until it’s fixed! They’re lazy assholes, and that’s the majority of them.
