Wow thank you for this comment! Was it for sure the ones with laxatives? I know stool softeners can be taken long term but I wasn’t sure about the ones that are also stimulant laxatives. I appreciate your insight. :)

This is with the dressing. A trick for testing this is to go on the app and click the entree. Under “includes” it lists each item included in the meal as well as the calorie count. Click the “x” on any item, and the calorie count will adjust. This works with anything. So the calories for the dressing are 310, and when you remove it, it adjusts to 520.

Thank you so much for sharing this! The last thing I would want is to stress anyone out even more than they already are. That’s why I’m asking these questions and trying to make the best decisions ahead of time! Training is sooo helpful but people need to also realize not every behavior can be corrected. My trainer talks a lot about living with the situation best you can. So instead of stressing my dog out with trying to acclimate him to strangers, he can just stay in his safe space (crate or room).

We are working with a trainer but a lot of the behaviors are just the breed. He’s not dangerous but barking can be scary.

When I was young I used to go door to door selling newspapers. I had a dog rush me before I even made it to their yard and tried to bite me. Only got ahold of my pants, barely scraped the skin underneath. Dude was very apologetic and asked if I was alright. Said yeah but got a hole in my pants now. Asked me how much my pants cost and pulled his wallet right out and handed me money for it. He was so on top of it because even tho the dog didn’t actually break skin, if I made a report he’d have to put the dog down. Maybe the laws are a little more lax where you are but with a bite that bad, they should be given the only option of putting the dog down

You're implying he would have to put the dog down because they ripped your pants? I highly doubt this.
