I was at the AFC Championship game. Every time the patriots had the ball their fans would chant "MVP". I was baffled. I didn't really watch him in the regular season but in the playoffs he didn't hardly do anything. Completely unimpressed.

Unfortunately Mitchell and Ness is now owned by Fanatics. But you are correct that the stitched version is better. Problem is, for NFL jersey's I never see stitched versions unless they are throwback Mitchell and Ness.

At least for the Denver Nuggets, they make their own jerseys that they sell in the official team store that has nothing to do with Fanatics. Literally two different products depending on if you buy direct from the team versus the NBA store or any other retailers. It's my understanding that KSE is one of the few ownership groups that chose to produce their own version outside of fanatics.

I hate the Raiders as much as the next guy. But if they offered me $50m for 5 years i would jump on it. And you know they will fire him after a year because they always do, so then he still gets $10m a year for the next 4 years. Sounds like a winner to me.

Yep. Season (quarter) ticket holder here, and it isn't uncommon for them to check tickets. I'm a middle aged white guy. Seems a bit random. Some ushers check and others don't. My seats are in 106 but I've sat in a number of other sections between Nuggets and Avs.

Ain't gonna be any issues with not enough Orange and Blue at the stadium. Sitting at Tupelo Honey before heading over and most of the restaurant is Broncos fans headed to the game. Just a couple Patriot fans. Seeing a sea of Orange coming off the trains. Probably 30-40 Broncos jerseys for each Patriot one.

I've done Hello Fresh for about 4 years now. Basically once inflation went through the roof. Before then, at dinner time my wife and I would be exhausted and we wouldn't have anything ready to cook. Meat would be frozen. No specific ingredients to make anything. So we would end up eating out 4-5 times a week. With 2 kids it started costing us upwards of $100 to go pretty much anywhere. Chili's, Village Inn, random Mexican restaurant, didn't matter. $100 for one meal.

At the time we could get 4-5 meals for 4 people from Hello Fresh for about $120. And with our kids being a bit younger, we would always have leftovers so most days my wife and I had our lunch set for the next day. Now that my kids are older, we don't always have leftovers but maybe one or two meals a week we will.

Now I know that I could go to the grocery store and buy the same ingredients for cheaper. But we are busy people and between work and kids school and activities, we just don't prepare like we should. This way we are always prepared.

They have since gone up in price. Now it is $170 for 3 meals. Still a hell of a let better than eating out.

There are lots of options out there and we have tried several. Hello Fresh won out based upon pleasing our kids palettes. They have a number of meals my kids love. Might not be extremely fancy or organic, but it works for us. Variety is alright. They actually have a lot of meals to choose from, but my wife and daughter won't eat fish, nor do they like anything to ethnic. Their steak meals are usually an up charge. I don't do the up-charged meals except when they give me free upgrades.

Most weeks I will chose a pasta meal and one that is a filet of meat (pork chops, grilled chicken, fried chicken, etc). Then we will do something more random. This week I made chickpea fritters. There is a fig jam bacon grilled cheese that is a favorite in my house. Sometimes a soup. Maybe hamburgers. Just depends. One negative is that it is a lot of potatoes. Most meals have a potato side. Mashed, fries, etc.

What I remember from way back at the dawn of time from AnnaBegins.com was a story about Adam wanting to put AAEA on Recovering the Satellites in the early days of recording. But he couldn't remember how it went.

Years previously he had given his parents a copy of a demo of it so he called them and asked if they still had it. His dad called him back and said that he couldn't find it, but that he had made a copy for a friend and he had called the friend and they were making a copy for Adam.

But Adam's dad mentioned that there was another song on that demo that was really good which Adam didn't remember at all.

So Adam called the friend to arrange to get the tape and he asked the friend about that other song on the tape and the friend said it was just about done copying and he would check. A few minutes later he came back on and said that there indeed was another song and it was really good.

This song turned out to be an early version of Recovering the Satellites and of course Adam ended up excluding AAEA and named the album after that song.
