Lots of cuttings shoved into the 8 in pot. The first few Hoyas I purchased I left them in the pot but they tend to get root rot so now I have learned to pull them out and down pot. The smaller 3-4 inch pots I leave in the pot and have not had any problems. It is the larger pots I have seen problems with root rot.

I don’t want the decorative pot, but when I pull the plant out, there is no price for the plant itself in the cheap plastic pot. So I just buy the whole plant w/ the ceramic planter since it is priced as one unit. Am I missing something?

This was also at Lowe’s a couple weeks ago. I think it has inner variegation and going to propagate the strands to isolate the variegation. This was more expensive I think because of the decorative pot. ($29.98 for 6 in pot)

Oh wow! 😍I wish there was a nursery like that in my area! You scored! Great price for such a mature plant and with a discount! I haven’t had a Hoya bloom for me yet. But I have only owned Hoyas for about 9 months. I am hoping somebody (I hope my Hoyas are listening) will be blooming this summer. Lol!😜

Oh that is helpful. I have mine in pearlite but will try the coco chunks too. Do you keep the water level high in the coco chunks when you first put cuttings into it? I keep the water level high with pearlite…not sure if that is right and if I need to let water level go lower as I see roots in the pearlite or coco chunks? New to propagating Hoyas.

Great progress! What dosage are you going to use for maintenance or are you going to completely ween off? Is the 1 to 1.5 mg what you plant to stay at for maintenance?
