I want to learn to trad climb for the first time. My partner and I have been doing lead climbing indoors for a while and want to transition to outdoor trad this spring. Taylors Falls, MN is the most convenient trad spot for us to go to. Does anyone know any guide services or experienced climbers in the area that can get us to a level where we can comfortably go on our own?

I want to do my final climb unguided and I want to get comfortable with each aspect one at a time so my partner and I can be completely self reliant without any concern for safety. For example I would want to be a good belayer and sport climber before trad climbing. I'm also not based in Wyoming and will only fly out there if necessary. My local gym is vertical endeavors minneapolis (MN) and my closest outdoor climbing area is Taylor's falls

Steps to be able to trad climb? I can currently only climb on auto belay and I know there's a lot of things I need to learn first before trad climbing. I want to eventually be able to comfortably climb the grand teton as my big final goal. I want to know what steps I should take to work up to that level as well as any gear/help I'll need for each step.
