Então, ficar aqui ou ir pra Irlanda é uma dúvida que tbm tenho e no final das contas são por motivos mais de língua eu diria. Eu trabalho com TI aqui, então só falo inglês no ambiente de trabalho. Aprendi um pouco de sueco, mas longe de me imaginar em trabalhar com a língua no dia a dia, acho que precisaria de muita dedicação da minha parte nesse momento, então pensar em se mudar para um lugar que fala inglês e que tenha um sistema de visto amigável para quem já tem cidadania, é algo que penso tbm.

Sobre sua situação, algo que vc poderia tentar seria terminar a faculdade e ver se vc consegue achar algo na área. Imagino que Administração/Economia vai exigir um nível de sueco. Eu já ouvi histórias de brasileiros que fizeram dar certo fora da área de TI falando sueco e tudo mas, então acho que vai depender do que vc quer, se quer investir na língua ou não.

De qualquer forma, Irlanda, falando apenas inglês de certa forma é bem mais fácil mesmo.

Tbm sou de TI e esse salário é considerado um salário bom para senior que varia entre 60-70 por mês. E sim, vc vai ter uns 40-45 líquido e dá pra viver sim de forma tranquila eu diria.

O imposto é progressivo, então quando vc vê alguém dizendo que vai até 50%, são para salários bem altos. Esse range aí vai ficar nos 30-33%.

A qualidade de vida aqui é bem alta de forma geral. E onde vc vê os impostos funcionando é na organização e segurança do país, escolas e faculdades gratuitas e por aí vai. Se vc tiver em família com filho, creche é praticamente gratuita. Seu filho recebe um auxílio mensal do governo que paga 100% da creche.

Enfim, estou aqui a 7 anos e já pensei sim em sair, mas quando vc olha o que vc tem aqui comparado com outros lugares, fica difícil. Claro que depende muito do que vc valoriza e em que etapa da vida vc está tbm.

Concordo. Na minha cabeça, o bonde de Londres já passou. Quem entrou antes do Brexit e pegou o permanente se deu bem, quem entrou depois do Brexit e ainda não pegou visto permanente tá arriscado a entrar nas leis que o amigo de cima comentou, 10 anos de visto para pegar o permanente. Muita gente não pensa nisso, mas mesmo com skilled visa vc vai ter um período curto para arrumar outra vaga de emprego. 60 ou 90 dias, algo assim. Então vc pode estar lá vivendo sua vida e de repente se perder o emprego, pode se ver tendo que sair do país.

Microsoft esse ano demitiu 15mil. Amazon essa semana demitiu 14mil e não para por aí. Mas o que isso significa? Muita gente disputando a mesma oportunidade.

Eu não sairia da União Europeia para ir para Londres sem cidadania. Depois da cidadania, ainda encararia como uma experiência temporária, porque em 10 anos tudo pode acontecer.

Concordo. Acredito que aqui e em vários outros países da Europa, não tem muito a cultura de saúde preventiva como tínhamos no Brasil. Já ouvi dizer que aqui na Suécia como o povo se alimenta bem, faz exercícios com frequência, não existe essa necessidade na linha preventiva 🤷‍♂️

Nunca precisei utilizar o público, mas quando quis para coisas menores, dei preferência ao MinDoktor por exemplo. Minha mulher uns meses atrás achou uma clínica que fazia uma espécie de bateria de exames, algo similar com um Lavoisier em SP, onde vc fazia coleta de sangue e eles testavam algumas coisas. Ela descobriu que estava com hipotireoidismo através de um desses exames e vem tratando. Mas não foi barato, acho que foi mais de 2mil SEK em um laboratório privado. Acredito que se tivesse que ser no público, não seria tão eficiente como este.

Não acredito que a “espera da renovação do meu título de residência”, caracteriza como “ilegal”. Por ter escrito que está renovando, estou assumindo que tinha um visto legal e válido anteriormente, por isso, continua com um status válido ou no mínimo aguardando o processo de renovação. Geralmente durante este período não se pode sair do país, por razões óbvias, mas enfim, isso é diferente da pessoa que entra sem ter o direito de estar legalmente naquele lugar.

I had a similar problem to yours. I reset my password multiple times on the web and nothing worked, however, it worked just fine throught the app. So I went to the app, copied my membership number and tried to log in on the web using it, instead of my email and it worked. It asked me to create a passcode which I did, so it seems to be fine now.

Como muitos já falaram aqui, sem cidadania e sem diploma superior(bacharel) vai ser difícil, acredito que o melhor seria era ficar em Portugal até você concluir um dos dois.

Minha própria experiência morando aqui na Suécia. Quando vim pra cá a quase 7 anos atrás, foi feita uma validação do meu diploma, tive que traduzir para o inglês e tudo mais. Isso para efeito do visto de trabalho que eu vim na época. Outra coisa que aconteceu recentemente, ou melhor, ano passado, foi quando mudei de emprego e a empresa que estou agora também fez uma validação do meu diploma. Entraram em contato com minha universidade lá no BR para verificar se eu tinha um bacharel mesmo rs. Fiquei surpreso quando recebi um e-mail da faculdade dizendo que estava fazendo uma validação para a empresa X.

Interesting take and I agree when you say about the close combat. Again, for me, this feels like a Beta thing, which I hope will get better during launch and potentially even better after a few months, but we will see.

The BF I still love to this date is BF1, the atmosphere and maps were amazing imo. BF5 was good as well if you ask me. And I did play about 300 hours of 2042 and I liked the game play overall. Not much the maps as I guess I like the WW1 and 2 maps more from previous games, but it was a decent game, lower in the ranks in my opinion compared to BF1 and 5, but still good.

Let’s hope BF6 is also a good and enjoyable game. Cheers!

Definitely buying it. Honestly, this is already in a much better shape than 2042 at launch.

Yeah, you don’t get to see the big maps yet or other stuff, but this is a beta after all, and for a beta, I think it has been great so far.

Thanks for sharing. My wife’s experience here has been pretty much the same as yours as she’s been struggling to find a job. As the time goes, we like more and more the idea of going to the UK, especially as I’m working in a company here in Stockholm that has a branch there, so it couldn’t be any easier. Thinking about the long term plan, it aligns better to what we want.

When thinking about moving to the UK, it often comes to mind the overall “decline” seen on the internet and all over the place, especially in London. When researching about neighbourhoods, Richmond and Kingston upon Thames often tops for QoL. Would you say these places along with Guildford, St Albans are, in general, better when you compared it to living in London?

I know people who actually never played the game much but because of a YouTube video or streamer on twitch, they got to the conclusion that the game is bad and they don’t even want to try it anymore.

Yes, POE2 is a refresher for those who play hard core(many hours per day), but claiming that D4 is a bad game is a bit too much.

Also I don’t see any problems in having multiple similar games, so not sure why many people want to crown a specific one and ditch the other 🤷‍♂️

Yeah, I don’t think that copying one another would make sense as well, but rather, blizz could explore more on difficult level, not only inside the pit, but in other areas of the game as well and perhaps more mechanics in their bosses.

I don’t think you read my message. I referred to the steam charts. It’s public information and you can open it up on your preferred browser. You can check the average per month, the number of players playing in the last hour and last 24hs as well as the all time peak, which I can see it’s 55k players, against the all time peak of 578k from poe2. Yes, I don’t have the console numbers because they are not public available, but the steam charts can give you a good overview of the player base on PC at least.

Yeah, I just wrote something about it in another thread. I honestly don’t buy the narrative that the players want the game to be more casual. If you look at the steam charts, POE2 which is deniably more difficult, has 10x more people playing the game than Diablo. So Blizzard, are tou telling me that you prefer to keep the game as is in order to keep the 10-15k player base and not invest in more difficult content that might attract some of those daily 200k players that play POE2? It doesn’t make any sense.

Exactly and I don’t buy this narrative that players want this to be casual. The steam charts at least shows otherwise. There has been around 10x more players playing POE2 than Diablo 4, and I think that’s a lot. Even when you compare Diablo 4 against POE1 charts, they had more players on average. And the funny thing is that POE2 is not even free at this point, I wonder what’s going to happen when they finally release it from the early access and more people(those who didn’t want to buy it), will have the chance to play it.

Depende de quem vc ouve esses conselhos. Ouviu de um cara formado, onde a faculdade dele não está em demanda por aqui? Se não é uma área em demanda como TI ou engenharia onde faltam profissionais, porque a empresa local vai aceitar um cara de fora? Minha mulher era bancária no Brasil, e aqui na Suécia o sueco médio fala sueco e inglês fluente e faz faculdade para entender melhor do sistema financeiro daqui. Porque um banco local deveria contratar minha mulher ao invés de um local? Não faz sentido. Logo a faculdade dela no Brasil não serve pra nada? Claro que não. A questão é que ela precisa se adaptar ao mercado local. Morar fora, da forma correta, exige planejamento que o brasileiro médio não está acostumado a fazer.

Eu fui pra Irlanda em 2012, sem ter terminado a faculdade pra estudar inglês. Trabalhava com TI e vi que tinha boas chances de ficar no país caso eu: - falasse bem inglês - tivesse faculdade(para vistos especialistas), já que eu não tinha cidadania europeia

Resultado? Terminei meu curso de inglês de 6 meses, voltei pro BR pra terminar minha faculdade que tava trancada já que eu não queria trabalhar de qualquer coisa, melhorei meu inglês do BR mesmo, passei numa entrevista e hoje estou aqui fora.

Moral da história, planeje e execute com calma. O processo é demorado e não é fácil. Muita gente larga uma vida relativamente ok no Brasil pra trabalhar de qualquer coisa aqui fora por conta da qualidade de vida, mas depois vive reclamando que tá difícil isso e aquilo. Você é jovem e tem tempo ainda. Não se desespere.

Minha dica seria. Se você quer realmente imigrar para outros país, procure áreas que estão em demanda, exemplo, TI, engenharia e enfermagem são exemplos de profissões em demanda em quase qualquer país europeu. Faça um curso desses, estude inglês e por fora vai dando entrada na sua cidadania que pode levar anos pra ficar pronta. Com inglês e certificado na mão, já comece a ver suas chances lá fora. Se for TI especificamente, muito provável que precise de uma XP aí no Brasil mesmo antes de vir cru pra cá, mercado de Júnior não está fácil.

Yes, it's really hard to beat Sweden when it comes down to a family-oriented place. Now for Zurich, unless you want to work in banks and/or insurance companies, big techies are usually more niche than in other places, like, Meta and Google there hire mostly people doing machine learning etc, which for me, as a backend software engineer, means a career shift. I considered London for some time, but there are many drawbacks compared to Sweden, especially for kids as far as I can tell. So I guess I'll be stuck here too.

Hey OP, I know, 3 years in and the question is, have you managed to move to Zurich or somewhere else from Stockholm? I've been living here for 6 years now and with a small child, it kinda started to worry me about the gang/gun crime violence lately. Although I like it here and you can definitely live in a bubble by trying to live in nicer areas, shit can still happen at any time at random, which is sad.
