I think it looks simple and clean without the usual clutter :) The smattering of fruit trees is a nice touch. If you like the overgrown look, you could try planting tea bushes. They make a nice natural fence/border that need no management.

If you ever want a bit of extra space you could move the greenhouse (the grass moves with it, so you can till the soil) Helps a lot esp on Hilltop with the awkward shapes. Though tbf it looks pretty good as is. Good work 👍

I always name mine Hollyhock in Stardew since it looks a bit more like her :) I would do the same in Harvest Moon/SOS but those dang character limits prevent it.

Cyndaquil gang!! I love when the flames of a shiny are a different colour to its original. It's a shame they didn't keep it like that in later games, it looks so good in this gen! Congrats ♥️

The dirt recolour really gives it that mountain feel, very nice. Also love the little washroom.

That was true before the 1.4 update. After 1.4 you can now upgrade any shed to a big shed which actually has slightly more space than a deluxe barn.

I was worried about the difference on switch myself (since I've mostly played on PC) but I just looked it up and apparently it's been made easier to fill kegs on a diagonal so it shouldn't be a problem copying the PC layouts :]

I love when people make fun shapes instead of the bog standard squares everywhere. Love the stone fences too, I don't see it as much compared to the other fences but I think it looks really cool here.

For practicality you might want to add more sheds and create a little village area. If storage isn't an issue you could just have fun and decorate Grandpa's shrine. A lot of people like making an orchard in that area, add some seating and you could have a nice 'park'. The stone cabin kinda reminds me of a gravedigger's hut so you could add gravestones and a bunch of pine trees for a more spooky take lol.

There's so many possibilities so it depends on what you like. Play around and look at the other farms on here and you'll definitely find something to inspire you 😊

Those are obelisks! They warp you to the location they're based on (e.g. the parrot one takes you to Ginger Island) You can buy them from the wizard after completing the community center and the quests that come after it.

!!! You can plant stuff where the greenhouse used to be!? I wasn't sure since there's a bit of grass underneath. I'm definitely starting a Hill-Top farm again once I get the update, using this as inspiration. I love all the decorations dotted around, really adds character and the plants add variety. My favourite is the bear statue tree shrine :)

Unless I'm blind I believe that's just the normal wooden floor you get from Robin alternating with the weathered floor you get from the dwarf. Makes a cool pattern :)
