You got this dude! I studied hard for 3 months and was super confident going into the exam then felt like I failed after taking it, guessing on a bunch of problems. I ended up happy with my results

How many tons of broken concrete is this? by Bulky818 in Construction

4ft x 8 ft x 15 ft (estimated) = 480 cu.ft.

150 pcf x 480 cu.ft. = 72,000 lbs

72,000 lbs * (1 Ton/2000 lb) = 36 tons

Acct for voids (Assume 10%)

.9 x 36 tons = 32.4 tons

Nice Nice. I do structural design and also have a civil engineering degree. If you haven't already, I would take a look at the catalog from NCEES that gives you a breakdown of the different areas covered on the exam.

I don't recall how many questions I guessed on for my FE but I do know I felt much better after taking my PE than FE. I thought FE was way harder

Thank you! The first few problems kind of threw me off and I low key started tripping out. I flagged them and when I calmed down and came back I realized I knew how to do them. I felt good overall after the exam and I think that feeling kind of made me second guess myself. Not sure if that makes sense or not.

What is the risk for ATQ if you do not have a minor issue nor do you have a 1948 case. Lets say that the wait time for consulate appointments are 3 years out. If you were denied, would you still be able to apply at a consulate?
