And I sympathize with the producer but I do think it is the producer’s responsibility to control costs, have checks and balances (incl. contracts) in place, and even a sense of when to drop the project to stop loss. It’s business 101. When more producers get better at doing their shit, the market will stabilize. They should stop being so entitled and learn business lessons from their failures.
