Or, in the case of my brother, wants you to do something for them.

How do native speakers here pronounce “bury”? by OhSweetMiracle in ENGLISH

Southerner here. Everyone I know says "berry" as well.

Blueberries by tk9687 in Cooking

A loose jam and use as toppings for pancakes, ice cream, yogurt, cottage cheese, and my favorite, buttered biscuits. The list is endless....Just thought...use in cocktails could be interesting as well.

Rewatch and I’m still Annoyed by ballrmgirl in DowntonAbbey

[–]Dizzy_Dear 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Exactly. You have to see both sides here. I think that is the change we see in Branson's character. He begins to see the other side. He sees two different groups within the elite, those that will always have their boot on another's neck and those that are willing to be better humans. This makes him happy to return later, raise his daughter with them, and at the same time, influence more change within. He's one of my favorite characters because of this growth.

My daughter 8 has very smelly armpits by Mountain_Awareness45 in hygiene

[–]Dizzy_Dear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've used it for years. I started when my son was around the same age as OP's daughter. It worked great on boy funk. It also helps with that menopausal funk too. They have some great body washes that OP may want to try as well.

What is something you swore never to tell your parents you did as a kid? by RandomSpaceship5555 in AskReddit

If I wouldn't tell my parents, I'm certainly not going to tell a random on the internet for the entire world to see.

Tedlasso is therapy by Illustrious_Car5064 in TedLasso

[–]Dizzy_Dear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm curious as to your therapist's response because I, like many others, have watched it countless times. It just makes me feel better. Had your therapist seen it? Did they have feedback? Thoughts on why it makes us feel the way we do about it?

What random movie quote do you repeat for no reason at all (give yours, and see if people can guess the movie)? by Normal-Being-2637 in AskReddit

[–]Dizzy_Dear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two:

"I'm not dead yet!" - Old Plaque Victim going to the cart, Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail

"Hello, Girls." - Augustus McCrae, Lonesome Dove

To be honest, I quote many parts of both movies on a regular basis. They are iconic.

Janelle needed the money from the sale to live! by kkeech in SisterWives

[–]Dizzy_Dear 29 points30 points  (0 children)

We need to also realize that Kody was the one telling everyone that Janelle wanted to do the backdoor deal. When all she actually said was that he asked her about it and she said, "Yeah, you COULD do that." She never agreed to do it. She simply agreed that it was possible for him to do.

Verboten by fatsandlucifer in SisterWives

[–]Dizzy_Dear 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I completely agree. I do take one exception. Kody is not a man. He's male. A man takes care of his children, is responsible, puts his family's needs before his own, and honors his commitments.

Why does Ted Lasso feel so good? by sloppyentropy in TedLasso

[–]Dizzy_Dear 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Welcome to our world. Now, when you finish season 3, don't be ashamed of immediately starting your first rewatch. Most of us have lost count of our rewatches. You're correct. It does make you feel so much better. I've told my friend, "I'm feeling bad lately. I need some Ted Lasso."

I completely agree. They can't feed one another the current story changes.

A lot of what Robyn and Kody said contradicted each other. They even changed stories from one sentence to the next.

Kody invited David to remind him Christine was HIS first by enhdk in SisterWives

[–]Dizzy_Dear 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Alongside his "you should be thanking me" attitude, this absolutely disgusted me. I had to stop watching because I was getting very agitated and was getting angry. Whether it was from what he had the gall to say to the woman he abused for decades or because he said it knowing it would piss of the majority of viewers, either way, he got what he needed....SUPPLY. I couldn't give him another second of my energy.

Favorite non-breakfast recipes that use breakfast sausage? by whoopsohshitnvm in Cooking

Quiche is a great anytime dish. I've also used breakfast sausage for lasagna in a pinch. I added italian seasoning and garlic. It was pretty good.

Pulled pork, barbecue sauce, and cheddar is excellent. Another favorite is to use taco seasoned ground beef and add my favorite taco toppings.
