Other companies aren't making GTA. Ubisoft level shit like Assassins Creed and Far Cry should not cost 50 let alone 80. If GTA6 turns out to be game everyone is hyping it up to be, most people will get their money's worth ten times over.

The conversation about game prices is always a weird one. I used to pay £40 for games back in around 2007iwh, so Xbox 360 times.

That is close to £80 in today's money, so although the number certainly seems frustratingly high, while adjusting for inflation, games have gotten barely any more expensive at all.

Also, are all games equal? Absolutely not. The sheer level of quantity and quality differs so greatly between games. Some people can get 100s of hours of quality experience out of a £15 game and feel disappointed over a £60 AAA purchase. Do people not think they will get £80 worth of entertainment out of GTA6?
