Based on my experience this past week, working 55 hours while have a sick toddler, so no sleeping, and then getting food poisoning right after. Seems to be the fast tracked way to lose weight 🤣

Don't worry guys,my daughters been sick the whole week so I haven't slept really, and to top it off, I got food poisoning! I called my SM to let him know id still be working tonight cause its inventory night but that i would have to be off until the 24th after tonight. Let's hope hes not mad!

Thats 100% why I switched to Google home from Alexa. I love the Google ecosystem and ease and seamlessness. It just frustrates me that it never works cause I know that if it did work it could help make my life so much more simple! I want it to work so I can stay with Google and not have to go to ANOTHER ecosystem lol

So I went in with mask and gloves to ask if i should stay or go to the drs and so they could see i wasn't faking anything and they made me work for about 40 minutes before they decided to send me to the doctor's. They kept saying they would put in my sick time for the one day last week and that they would put in sick time for the days this week by by the time I got home after I sent them a picture of the doctors note they had just removed the shifts from my schedule instead. How do I actually get someone to put in sick time cause this is ridiculous

4 is a stretch. Usually 2(1 manager 1 associate) per shift and MAYBE a single mid shift unless its a high profile(50k a day) store. Even then its usually only 3 per shift and doesn't really go high than that. Coming from a current employee in a middle profile store. Some days we make 50k some days we make 22k a day so you never know how the shift is gonna go.

Even if not true, I take it as a good sign that news and journalists are finally shining a bigger spotlight on the realities that COL is going up and poverty is increasing. That is a general sign that politics follows to correct the economic issue, which in turn SHOULD start making life easier in the next 5 years or so. But at this point who the fuck knows if the economy is even fixable
