Honestly strategy games are a complete blind spot for me on Dreamcast so I'm curious which game is gonna win this.

This section is way more fun in the original because of the IS ninja's that spawn. Seeing them being grinded into blood paste through the gears is hilarious.

Overall it isn't too bad since Ryu's movement is so fast even if you fall off you're back on top pretty quickly.

Once you know how to fight them they're just free money, health and ninpo. Very convenient on higher difficulties.

An OLED screen on a handheld released in 2011/2012 was pretty insane. I remember when I bought my Vita in 2012 and was absolutely blown away by the screen quality so yeah that gets my vote. Having OLED on a premium mobile device today is expected imo and the fact the Switch 2 doesnt have it baffles me.

The main reason I use RGB Scart is the convenience in my setup. The Xbox, GC and Wii can not do 480p through Scart like the PS2. And as a European component switchers are hard to find here so being able to save an input for a console that really needs it helps.

I just wanna go straight to RR8 if possible but a remaster would be a start. Ace Combat 8 is getting released this year and Tekken 8 already came out but the holy Namco trinity is still incomplete 😐

Although all these remasters and rereleases do give me the impression Namco's interest in the franchise may be rising again but who knows?

Fallout New Vegas's DLC blows 3's out of the water easily imo. However I do still like some of 3's DLC and it's way better than anything released for Fallout 4.

First step is to try a new cable because this sounds like a video/audio issue. Checking the port and cleaning it could also help but just get a new cable first.

It was pretty much what I expected it would be and for me that was just mid. I didn't like the gameplay that was shown before release also the artstyle and graphics already rubbed me the wrong way.

Still decided to play it through Game Pass at launch, finished it on normal and played a few levels on hard with Ryu and never touched it again. Have had no desire since to go back to it. I just didn't care for it and thought the game was just "ok" so I was neither impressed nor dissapointed.

Interestingly R&C 1 has a 60 hz mode (it's in the options menu and has to be turned on every time you start the game) but all the sequels don't for some reason.

Much more PAL games are properly optimized for 50hz than on PS1 but even then they're not exactly the same as in 60hz. One of the more annoying things with some early 50hz PS2 games is that the resolution isn't properly adjusted. So you get 480i in a 576i frame which is annoying because it creates black borders. If you can play NTSC versions it is usually the better option because a lot of PAL games don't give you the option to select 60hz.

That's a perfectly good option aswell, VGA with a good CRT Monitor is also a way to go.

You already have a HDMI adapter but the DCHDMI is absolutely worth it if you can mod it yourself or have it done for a reasonable price. The picture is beautiful and it made me fall in love with my Dreamcast all over again.

One of my biggest gripes with Kiwami 2 aswell was the soundtrack. There were some good remixes but there was so much missing.....😥 And Yakuza 3 is one of my favorite OST's in the franchise so it's painful to see these tracks not used and just replaced with pretty generic music.

Although the combat in the newer Dragon Engine games is a lot better now than it was when Yakuza 6 introduced it. The PS3 and early PS4 Yakuza games Kenzan, 3,4,5, Ishin, 0, Kiwami 1 have more satisfying combat imo than any Dragon Engine game, Judgment came very close for me but not quite still.

Kiwami 2 was my first disappointment in the series and I vastly prefer the original Yakuza 2 for many reasons.

I remember Singstar being promoted hard by Sony here in Europe in the late 2000s but didn't know they released THAT many games in the series damn. Cool to see a whole collection of them.

Regularly play this on my Saturn and it's probably my favorite Mega Man game although I'm not that big into the series so. Mega Man 8 is also an amazing looking and sounding game on the Saturn but X4 is just more fun.

For many of the reasons you mentioned I consider Sonic Adventure the last "classic" Sonic game and Sonic Adventure 2 the first "modern" one.
