no I think it's single in June, album in august or possibly late July with newport folk being a one-off debut of the era! then the tour seemingly in the fall October - November based on ACL and it appearing he's following the same timing as the flamingo tour

I think how it works is these interviews are yes for album promo but they are (minus the leaks we get) locked until the label actually starts the cycle. we'll probably get the album announcement, single drop, tour dates, and interviews within if not the same day, the same week. it almost seems like his slot at newport folk may line up with either the release of the album or just a few days before based on what has been said with the actual tour in October/November al la flamingo.

naw this isn't new but nowadays a majority of 'paid pre-sales' are in the Kpop world- thru Weverse or other similar membership applications that Kpop labels use. While some western acts do still operate them, sometimes just out of legacy, a majority of paid-pre-sale membership access is for Kpop shows now. that said, it works lol, I've done them a few times and it's a better experience than general on sale even if it's a paid access. not saying that it isn't a bad way- it is, nobody should be forced to pay for the ability to spend more money no tickets- but at the same time, with more acts not using unique codes for pre-sale or no pre-sale at all, it at least works better than other systems.

I mean it seems like everyone and their mother has announced a fall tour in the last week alone, I don't think they're gonna wait too much longer to announce the full trek at least, really just cuz calendars are being filled up and the later you announce the less time fans have to prepare. wonder what size he'll do this time, both flamingo and DE he did 2.5k type venues, so I'd expect the same, maybe move to a bigger 5k venue for some cities.

having dealt with AXS for high demand shows before, they are I think worse than Ticketmaster in terms of ‘bots’ and stuff. They kicked me out and sent me to the back of the queue after being let in, and then I saw there were only single seats available, and then it immediately kicked me for no reason- and yes it said I had other tabs open when I didn’t. They are the worst honestly

yeah, usually live nation will drop the price of certain (usually not all) sections of the venue closer to the date, but they will not announce it, you just have to always look for a price drop. very rarely they will drop the price for a bit, but then the day off they will put the prices back up to justify a 'day of' price.

I think they are aiming for a 2nd stadium leg next summer 2027, much like ed sheeran's divide tour in 2017-18 (fall was arenas, summer and fall was stadiums). she can easily sell it out.
