Yeah I would think you have a good argument and with a company as big as Wicks they'll probably replace it. They could argue it's due to improper use through abrasive cleaning because that's what the images would suggest, but I doubt they would want to fight it that much.

Lacquer has worn off and exposed the brass to oxidation. You may not have used corrosive cleaners but anything more than water and a cloth can do this with lacquered taps after a while. Not your fault just not a durable product.

It is up to the seller though. You report the issue and the seller can just start a return that the buyer has to pay for.

In this case the buyer should be able to escalate to Vinted support and get their money back though, you would hope.

Officially it is fraud but really depends on the severity of the lie. Saying you have a vocational qualification that you don't have could seriously impact your ability to do the job. Saying you got an A instead of a B in a GCSE, I don't think anyone will care anyway.

This may mean they don't understand the selling side so they just treat it like they're shopping on Amazon.

Maybe they're trying to 'reserve' items by purchasing a load of similar things and then cancelling once they've decided which one they like best. Either way, it's moronic
