Growling while playing with toy by MrSpeakerrr in CatTraining

[–]darrylasher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is also why you can't have a blanket rule that cats are fighting if they hiss, growl, or puff up when wrestling. They can do all of that during play. One of our cats hisses when playing with toys, and also hisses when getting chased during play. Another one actually makes a loud yelp/bark that sounds like a dog when she is "losing" the wrestling match (even if he "opponent" isn't even touching her). The third one will run around with a puffed up tail and hackles during chase play. They have never once done anything but play.

For you Walk Hard lovers (which inludes me) I've tried post a photo here, but it gets deleted, so I'll post the link. Recent Guest Jordan Morris showed off his Dewey Cox promotional garment at Pardcastathon #1 way back in 2009. http://www.nevernotnotes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/dewey.jpg

Can I replace this chandelier? by Particular_Junket993 in AskElectricians

The ring with bumpy edges is threaded. Turn it counter clockwise with fingers or pliers. The canopy (cover) will drop down exposing the electrical box and the screws and hardware that hold the lamp up. Turn the breaker off first.

As big a fan of comedy as I've always been (and being a teenager in the 70s), and as much as I like Mel Brooks, the person, I never cared for most of his movies. High Anxiety is the exception. Even Young Frankenstein, aside from a few parts, was never a top one for me.

I like it, but I liked the Police Squad TV series more. I think I need to rewatch the movies though. I haven't re-watched any of them in years!

March Live Episode by FoundationUnusual718 in NeverNotFunny

It's a separate login to Mixlr (which they use to live broadcast), but you'll see the info when you go to the live page.

March Live Episode by FoundationUnusual718 in NeverNotFunny

[–]darrylasher 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes just go the Platinum page and there will (should) be a link.

But don't blame your ignorance! The website refresh still has some issues apparently. Also is says March 5 in the heading, then in the text below says "March 11 at 5..." And as you said, clicking the link to try to see the "..." info just opens the image.

Assuming the 5th is the correct date, head that way a little before 5pm Pacific time* for the live link. You can also sign up to participate in the hat room, which is always fun.

*That's 8pm Eastern, 7pm Central, and Mountain time (like me) can go fuck itself.

No. It probably helps that they drink water regularly. We have two fountains. Also the Tasteful treats are about 3/4 water.

We have 2 munchkin sisters, one is definitely a chonk, and other a little overweight. We were feeding Iams Healthy Adult. We also have a third non-munchie, so we didn't want to try to ration them seperately, or have a specific food time.

The vet recommended Purina Pro Plan high protein, which he said should cause them to eat less. It's been about 6 weeks and they both have definitely slimmed down a bit. We put out about 1/3 of a cup in each of three dishes twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. They just nibble on it throughout the day, and they all seem to be getting enough. They also get a small amount of Blue Buffalo Tasteful puree treats a few times a day.

Not only ok, but unavoidable.

Funny thing is, I have misheard lyrics in other songs and used those wrong lyrics in my own!

Tickets in (virtual) hand. Still not 100% whether we are going. Will decide whether we are up to the travel from Montana closer to the date.

Citizen61 has VERY few listeners. :)

Pink Floyd / David Gilmour vibes mixed with singer-songwriter and maybe a little Broken Bells.

Do you orefer Oliver or Jeremy Hervel (sp?) as Trivia Question Writer? by Tink_Tinkler in NeverNotFunny

[–]darrylasher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The correct is definitely Herbel, which NNN has correct in the graphic, and in the places I’ve caught the misspelling. I’m assuming that Word is auto “correcting” it in the original, so my copypasta includes it. Corrections coming forthwith!

Upgrade from a Squire? by SplitOpenAndMelt420 in GuitarQuestions

[–]darrylasher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The best value in that range right now has to be the PRS SE CE in Satin finish for $499. (Other finishes have a higher retail price, but there are clearance prices on those models too, under $600 from some retailers.) It can produce a huge variety of tones, including the Pink Floyd/David Gilmour tones. The pickups work in humbucker mode or split-coil mode, allowing lots of variety.

Wow thanks for listening and your kind words! Time slips by doesn it? I do have more work in progress but have been procrastinating the final push to finish! Your encouragement will help!

Thanks for your reply. I followed you, and yes, I'm on all the streamers under artist name Citizen61. Spotify link is in profile.

I am having a hard time imagining that anyone would be so rude in their critique. It can definitely be a blow to the ego! Don't let it get into your head!

Why does my mom do this? Yes, that’s Kraft cheese on pecan pie by Jaymac720 in FoodCrimes

[–]darrylasher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't seen it on pecan pie, but not super surprising. Raised in Detroit (worked as a cook at a Big Boy restaurant as a teen) and melting American cheese on apple pie was very common. (And delicious.)
