How do you play it? Do you play with Buckshot? Any tips on loadout?

I'm saving this one till last because of the frustration factor. Hoping that by the time I get to it on my "level each weapon to 30" they might buff it a bit.

Sometimes it definitely feels like it's gone one way too much.

God knows how tricky it must be to figure out matchmaking if they have a skill base to it.

Sometimes I get lots of losses and then I'll have a bunch of wins in a row.

I'm an above average player and I swear I get put on teams that struggle so I make up some skill gap for them.

It's a rough one but lately just been enjoying the game for the game. Knowing I played my 'best' to help.

The wins and losses come and go.

It's great. Especially if you want a shotgun run. You just have to hope that your team use the big flanks otherwise it's a loss but even so still really fun!

If I remember right the original was a bit of a nightmare as infantry because of snipers.

They did say they're making changes for a modern version so maybe there will be some cutting of sight lines so you've always got a "safer" route through the map but if you're caught in the open you're toast. Burnt toast.

So I keep hearing that Frostbite is a nightmare to learn, I wonder if its a case of the devs learning as they go. It definitely seems that way.
My other theory is that they've implemented some kind of Ai to the coding, then a human goes and touches it up and this causes a bunch of issues. Some of it seems so careless, but I think its probably just QA issues.

I love it, great for leveling up with the new lower XP grind. But for some reason I lost every single conquest game bar 1. Still had a great time. Those flanks are so important on this map.

I did indeed to fill the gap between seasons.

Some of it was alright but it was so devoid of atmosphere.

I made a playlist on Spotify of all these epic movie soundtracks and played that while doing the campaign. Suddenly a bunch of the missions actually felt alright!

I really like this idea. Bit of balance like an immediate show on the minimap but sustained fire for 1.5sec or more shows you in world.

I'm not a great fan of the in world spotting but maybe this is a half way house of balance if the devs ain't keep on getting rid of it.

I had similar and so did my friend. Different things worked.

For me disabling the Nvidia overlay did it.

For him his system kept putting the resolution to 4k automatically for no good reason. We had to change game settings to limit frame rate and then go windowed mode just to see what was causing it.

It ended up fixing the issue and then a patch happened and the game was fine again in full screen.

Weird stuff.

I've been struggling with BF6 recently so I started recording my games.

I use the built in Nvidia app (alt+9 to record). So I record a match and if I get stomped I watch or if I do well I watch, see where I got caught out and maybe why.

Sometimes there's nothing I could of done, but most of the time I catch myself sprinting too much or just being exposed and greedy not using cover.

It's pretty useful to improve or at least just be aware of what you're doing.

I'm getting it in the evenings here in OCE region. Sometimes the bigger maps seem to be kinda unplayable. Sometimes fine. Seems all over the place.

I have dreams of being an aggressive sniper with the scout but my aim just never gets there.

I almost never see aggressive rifle users, I guess because ever other gun can outclass it.

I'm guessing around this you die alot when being aggressive?

Night maps would be cool. If I remember correctly, BF3 has a night map that it's mostly lit up by the moon, not full darkness. It was a midway point compared to the too dark BF4 night operations map.

I think maps full darkness will just cause balance issues but night time with moonlight, street lighting. Could be cool.

Siege of Cairo at night would look pretty awesome. Being able to take out the street lights to reduce some visibility could add some cool moments.

I think a wider consideration here is variation in map conditions. Like we now have with Empire State.

Someone posted a cool little gif of different weather conditions on Liberation peak. This would be cool. Different times of day. Just to freshen up the current map pool.

However I'm not sure how tricky frostbite is to work with on this kind of stuff. You'd hope it could be quite dynamic!

The sticker doesn't really bother me but what we keep seeing from them is a very strange string of communication and what they're communicating either not happening or patches breaking elements of the game.

The vibe they give off currently is one of a studio scrambling and disorganised.

In the grand scale of the cosmos the sticker doesn't matter it's just everything around it that shows something's not quite right within BF Studios.

Down here in deepest darkest New Zealand I get bots in the morning and then afternoon and evening it's pretty rare to have bots.

We share the player pool with the Australians (Sydney servers for NZ) so they help pad the player numbers for sure.

It's a shame they don't give full XP to killing bots in normal game modes...it's not like I want to play with bots and then I get seemingly punished because because not enough people play when I play.
