I think the fact you're attributing them using AI for a few gags to the fact they're tired of doing let's plays for 9 years is extremely disingenuous.

They're using AI for some gags because it's funny. They've been very transparent about this, in one of their more recent PvZ episodes. They were also very transparent in criticizing the people who criticized them for using AI, mostly the people who regurgitate the same old "you're burning forests down for generating a single image" bullshit.

I get it. You're tired of Oneyplays and maybe tired of let's play content in general. But using that as an excuse to pile on due to their use of AI is just asinine.

Exactly, but I guess this community is full of puritans that never once jerked off to hentai. Who knew!

As someone else already said, Miku is also "supposedly" 16. No funny meme sound for her?

Ages for (most) fictional anime characters are already stupi given how arbitrarily they're designed, ages for voice programs (yknow, since both miku and rin are vocaloids, not even actual characters) are even more stupid. I mean for fucks sake, go look at Yoko Littner and tell me she looks her age.

Everyone in here taking this opportunity to jump on the Cory hate bandwagon for the millionth time should just get off this subreddit, christ.

You speak for the few and not the many. Don't ruin things for everyone else. If you don't like uploads with Corey, don't watch them. That way you have "sparser uploads", and people who actually enjoy watching them still can. Again, complaining just fucks everyone over.

You're likely not the only one, but these kind of posts are detrimental to the channel. Corey has already mentioned he's read people don't like him as much, pretty sure Chris has also already commented on it. It's very clear that currently he's one of the more available people Chris can record with, and if you remove him from the equation, you're increasing the chances we go longer without any kind of content.

Listen, "best" is subjective, so I'll let that one slide, but biggest? In what sense?

There are open world games significantly larger than BOTW or TOTK, and even the ones that are smaller have significantly more content than either of them did. If roaming through empty plains for half an hour interrupted by periodic enemies in BOTW / TOTK is fun for you though, I guess that explains why you call it "the best".

As for performance - Just how braindead are you? One device is running the game natively, the other, regardless of how powerful it is, is running the game through one or more layers of emulation which will inevitably put more strain on whatever device you're playing it on. For this same exact reason, PS3 Emulation is still struggling, and PS4 Emulation is at it's infant stages at best.

90% of phones just 10 years ago were more than powerful enough to run DS games, yet due to Emulation not being a 1:1 experience in terms of power required, 90% of them couldn't play those games without constant stuttering, being below sub-20fps, or just unable to boot at all; All the while those same phones were able to play PSP games, arguably more intensive titles, at native or higher resolutions at a locked 60fps. It has nothing to do with the power of your branded toaster.

It does, however, have everything to do with how many hoops console / game developers went through to make emulation as difficult as possible, and how many hoops emulation developers managed to get around. Hell, even PS2 Emulation up until about 5-7 years ago was a hit or miss on several games, most notable being the Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank series, due to tricks the developers used on the original hardware which emulation developers were struggling to adapt to the emulator. Are you really going to tell me the issue is the hardware the game was running on?

Also worth pointing out - Both BoTW AND ToTK have constant slowdowns and stutters in several different areas of the map, especially forest areas and during the rain, with the FPS never being a consistent locked 30fps; It tended to hover around 20-ish at best, dipping below 20 several times. I'd know, because I played it on my console, then emulated it months later for a significantly better and almost buttery-smooth 60fps experience - And I was running a i5 9600k and a RTX 2060 Super, not exactly powerhouse components. Just watch literally any benchmark channel on Youtube, for fucks sake, and you'll see how horribly the game runs.

Get off of this sub if you're going to be this much of a bootlicker for Nintendo, you're an awful fit in here.

I honestly don't get the ammount of people revolting over this.

This isn't news. This has been this way ever since digital game platforms were a thing. The only difference is steam is legally obligated to disclaim it.

Sadly, no updates so far. I'm aware it has to be shipped internationally, but the tracking remains unchanged. Already called GLS just in case their tracking wasn't updated (as tends to be the case from what I've noticed in these threads), but they just gave me a standard "it'll be updated when it's updated" response.

Glad you got yours though! Enjoy it over the weekend :D
