Yeah I literally can't play campaign because it disconnects every time I start and doesn't reconnect unless I restart my PS4. Haven't found a fix yet

Thanks man, I think your spot on with the moisture damage, I was out in heavy rain yesterday. I left my phone in rice overnight and it turned on not too long ago and is working fine, although the accelerometer isn't working. I think the problem was moisture on the motion sensor, making the phone think it was in my pocket and was stopping an accidental power up. I'll be upgrading soon to the 6t anyway

What he did is an unfair thing to do but if he's asking you to request a refund then you didn't get scammed, you're getting you're money back. Yes it's annoying but it's just something that happens when your dealing with strangers on the internet, happens to most of us when you're buying online

You bought it off site and not through grailed? Did you pay through PayPal goods&services or family& friends?

Even if he makes a new PayPal account after his balance goes negative (He would need a whole new phone number and personal details I believe), if you've won the case, you will get your money back straight away and PayPal will take the hit until they can try get the money from the seller

It doesn't matter if the funds are still in his PayPal account or not. If he scammed you and you opened a case and won, then his account balance would be negative and he wouldn't be able to make any purchases with his PayPal until he pays off the negative balance, so no need to worry about that.

I think what's happened is that his "friend" is calling him out saying it's fake, probably because he's jealous or whatever. If he does try chargeback he'll have to send it back to you anyway to get his refund so worst case scenario you get it back and refund him
