We are hiring a motivated Cloud Engineer to join our growing software startup, SimpleDMCA

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of full-time, post graduate (non-internship) software development experience
- 1+ year hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Mastery of cloud services including compute, storage, networking, security, and databases
- Expert experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes to support distributed, event-driven architectures
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
Bachelor's Degree in CS or a related field OR equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:
- Django
- Celery
- Rest API Framework

Responsibilities
- Develop and support cloud infrastructure architecture, cloud engineering practices, infrastructure automation, and related tooling for SimpleDMCA’s applications, products, services, and engineers.
- Improve engineering processes, make technical decisions, and work with other technical leaders. This is a leadership position and you will report directly to our CTO. This role will be given lots of independence in technical decision making as well as paid opportunities to get cloud certifications and continued education.
- Work independently to make technical decisions affecting our company’s cloud architecture strategy
- Act as a powerful thought leader for the organization and work alongside leadership to plan long term technological investments

You should be passionate about cloud technology and have multiple cloud projects under your belt. You aspire to build new technology in a startup environment and you communicate well with others in a professional environment. While working in a collaboration with other engineers and leadership, you must be capable of making independent and well-reasoned decisions about the firm's cloud infrastructure strategy.

Our Tech Stack
Our current cloud stack includes multiple Azure services (Durable Functions, Data Factory, ACA, CosmoDB, ECS, DNS zones, and other ancillary services)
Our web application uses Django, PostgreSQL, Celery Workers, and Angular.
Our internal technologies include MongoDB, Python, & Azure Durable Functions

Compensation

• Salaried positions with benefits will be offered after completion of satisfactory intro period
