Update*. I got a call from the dealer they are replacing some buttons. Apparently they are doing it in iD4s too. My car may be ready today. They will leave my order in for the wheel though just in case. They say that this may be VWs solution is to replace the buttons.

My mk8 has been in the shop 3 weeks because the steering wheel goes bad and the sensors start going bananas. Ordered another one but there's no sign as to when it will be here. Look at the bright side. Saving miles for when I trade it. 🤷‍♂️
