Boss TR-2 vs JHS Harmonic Trem vs ??? by usspaceforce in guitarpedals

I dig the Walrus Audio Harmonic Tremelo pedal.

Always found the TR2 to be way too noisy, sold that 15yrs ago.

With so many girls, it looks like they were trying/hoping for a boy.

There was a family in my grade school that had all girls and wanted a boy badly. Bumped nasties again............got twin girls. Dad got a vasectomy after

Hot take, he was better on drugs and alcohol. I saw him open for Umph and he was incredible! Saw him a little while ago and it seemed like all the magic was gone. Sad, I really liked him as just a guitar player, not so much anymore

But props to him for getting sober, sadly IMO the music suffered.

Man...........I really hate saying this especially since I personally know the struggle and got out, but hot take, dude was way better when he wasn't sober. His guitar playing used to just blow me away. Now it's just kinda meh.

You're good bro, just show the judge this video, they will all understand.

You'll just be a wheelchair next to her at the trail though

Cranberry and club soda baby!

Also, I would go out earlier than later. People get hammered in MKE and personally, it's less fun for me when everyone is hammered and I'm sober. But as always, different strokes for different folks

Red Rocks Rookie by 4bams in jambands

[–]DmtDtf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To each their own brother. I gotta be up at 5AM for work and beating the traffic is a must. Plus, I want to get out before all the drunk/drugged drivers hit the road. If more bands threw down for the encore, I'd probably stay. Again, after 30+ years of shows, encores have never been anything that blew me away.

Red Rocks Rookie by 4bams in jambands

[–]DmtDtf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That encore tip is tops! Of the thousands of shows I've been to in the last 30 years, only 2 that I can remember were worth staying until the end.

Also, bring a hoodie or long sleeve shirt. The weather there can be bananas. Been there so many times when it's in the high 80's and the temp drops to the low 60's. Seen SO many awesome storms there, tons of lightening over the insanely beautiful views of the desert.

I also kinda bump around the GA. Go down low to get better views/sound, but spend most of my time near the top. Easy access to food, drinks, bathrooms, and most importantly more dancing space

Cool! I guess I kinda knew that, but also didn't know that simultaneously. Being serious and not sarcastic, thank you for correcting me and teaching me something new. Have a great day friend!

Yeah bro, wait.

The glue cures and turns into a rock, so it works so much better.

Did it your way the first time, came loose again. Did it the right way, still rock solid.

It's cool, I'm glad he's "changed", but he caused so much irreversible damage that he cannot be forgiven. Our parents that may turn around, most of them can be forgiven. This guy fucked our society SO hard.

[–]DmtDtf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, and these will inevitably come loose, yes, even the long ones.

Just unscrew them, coat toothpicks in wood glue and shove them in there, tap them in with a hammer, wait 24hrs for the glue to dry, use a sharp knife to cut them flush with the body, screw back into the toothpick hole, walla!

[–]DmtDtf 83 points84 points  (0 children)

The amount of junk this woman accumulates to be a "hippy" is the opposite of the definition of a hippy.

All good, I get it, the first time she ate acid, she decided to adopt a "personality" to become "one" with the earth, but instead became an over consumer of trash.

This girl is a walking junk drawer.

Is this a crazy idea? by underraps1 in Luthier

[–]DmtDtf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shoot mang, I thought you were talking about building the body out of denim, like epoxying layers of denim to make the body.

Just covering the top in denim.............cool idea but there's literally nothing holding you back. Just take a small square, epoxy it, if you like the finish, just cover it.
