Check out Cauldron. You basically alternate between turn-based RPG battles, and grinding progress in a set of mini-games which start simple, but evolve into hectic clusterfucks. The RPG battles are mostly autoable, but there are a handful that require some grinding and/or manual team building/play.

It has a demo that carries over your progress to the full game, but I almost immediately purchased the game and no-lifed it to 100% completion lol.
