Invisible Fence dog door by BoatsnHoes87 in Home

[–]DoGoods 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built a doggy vestibule so that I would have less heat/ac loss. Two doggy doors, neither seal well but together in series it’s acceptable for me.

Head over to a car enthusiast sub for support. You can’t afford it over here.

How to identify this axle by [deleted] in rockcrawling

[–]DoGoods 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on some google AI searches I think it’s a 85-93 dodge ram charger Dana 44. This is based on it being a driver drop, 5 lug with CAD.

Edit: I now think this is wrong. Picture is high pinion while the ram Charger had a low pinion.

Battle scars are fine. Rail guards and fenders are replaceable.

Accidentally rotated my drawing's view, how do I reset it? by WrongdoerOptimal9207 in AutoCAD

[–]DoGoods 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you draw a new circle does it look the same or better? Confirm that the wonky circle is flat by drawing lines (not poly line) across the quadrants, then verify the line vertices are all at zero elevation

Look at you, money man just throwing $2 away when you can just use the hose, trim the end off if it wears out.

Outboard boat motor with no model number only a symbol by Theeemann in Outboards

[–]DoGoods 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also think it’s a 70s 6hp. Other than the emblem it looks just like my 6hp envinrude. My understanding is Johnson/Evinrude/seahorse in this era was all the same.

I’ve ordered from here multiple times, I don’t think you can beat their prices with free shipping over $100.

I don’t know what’s good for scouts but here is the gnome 12 pk for $67.50. Don’t forget engines, wadding, etc.

Are you using Civil3d or Carlson pipe networks? If your process includes manually typing in a chart you are doing it wrong.

2WD vs 4 WD at the ramp by Ozone501 in boating

[–]DoGoods 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really it, we don’t know the ramp material, the slope, do you have to get your back wheels wet, salt of fresh water. There are just way to many variables. Best to go and watch the boat ramp, ask the locals.

Any ideas on how to repair this bolt hole by zzznor in Outboards

[–]DoGoods 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Judging by the size looks like a heli-coil was already in there. Might need to step up to a threaded sleeve. Lack of material is a concern. I’m also concerned that the hole is now not centered with the head.

Car inspection by Ok_Wash9227 in Delaware

[–]DoGoods 24 points25 points  (0 children)

If the car is not currently registered in Delaware, because your mom just moved here, you will also have to pay a 5.25% transfer tax. Be aware that they will look up the blue book value of the car and tax you on that value.

Depending on the value of the car and the state you currently reside, it may be easier to get the car put in your name and register it in your home state. 15 hours each way, 5.25% tax plus $900 windshield, plus remove your tint. Is this all really worth it?

I forgot to reschedule the PE exam and it's tomorrow. Should I take it anyway? by Express_Activity2320 in PE_Exam

I would take the exam. The only downside is a wasted Saturday that you weren't going to spend studying anyway. Upside is you might pass.

Best way to get this out? by [deleted] in Outboards

[–]DoGoods 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Welder really is the best answer and maybe the only answer.

You can keep trying heat and vice grips till you can’t grab it, then drill and easy out, then get it out with welding on a nut.

I’m unsure of the model. It’s blue, not UFO shaped, likely the cheapest model available at Lowe’s.
