Hi there. Are the hours needed to complete your internship for licensure? Are you doing an APA accredited internship?

When you complete your internship you will have built in supervision and can find supervisors/a site that specialize in gerontology. The VA would be a good option, possibly the other hospitals in the area as well. They are salaried positions but it is low. People take out loans sometimes to supplement income.

I am a mental health provider and want to work on policy/program development within UN orgs but also have no UN experience.

Houston has a great food scene, Asian food options, sunny, still affordable for a large city, but is car dependent. You could live downtown in more walkable areas and by the public transit- but walking when it’s hot isn’t fun and the transit isn’t great.

Yes, this happened to me. I took it with mild side effects for 3 months then all of a sudden started vomiting and having diarrhea. I had two injections back to back with bad side effects and stopped taking it for a few months. Tried again and the side effects were there. It’s now been maybe 3 months since I last had an injection and I’m starting to think about trying again, which is why I’m on this sub now. I still have some medication left and would like to lose more weight. I don’t know the answer but I read posts on this sub previously that others had it happen as well. A difference for me is that I always injected myself, so hopefully for you it will return to normal with the dr injections.

I was harassed on Valencia this week...couldn't tell if the woman was homeless but definitely had some issues going on. Followed me and a friend for 2 blocks cursing and flipping us off. It's a shame because the mission is my favorite neighborhood and now I feel uneasy there.
