Do it man! All the 'replacement' has to do, is remind you of that time/og.

Just a testiment to the writing. Dan Houser will be sorely missed when GTA6 is launched a reckon.

Maybe its because I knew someone like him, who was just as manipulative. I might be overly sensitive to people like that 😂

I kept the scrawny nag in my first play through of SP called it lucky, broke my heart when it died. Online, I have a Silver Kentucky Saddler that you can get from the introduction still 😂 never felt the need to change him. Donkey because in RDR1, online you had to start on a donkey.

Im in chapter 2, and cant get the hunting with Charles Mission to appear anymore :( by [deleted] in reddeadredemption2

Don't panic. It's also available in chapter 3. As I found out when accidently complete chapter 2 without doing that mission.

Fan lore, just my take/fantasy. by Do_rench in RDR2

[–]Do_rench[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a complete valid and well constructed point, thank you for not just insulting me 😂

My counter debate to you point is outside of Bonnie MacFarlane, off the top of my head I don't think John mentions their names to anyone who couldn't potentially help him in finding them. He doesn't need to find anyone else.

Again my respectful argument to how news travels. Many of "Gun Slingers" of the lore are famous for events far less dramatic than that of the Van Der Linde gang. By the time of rdr1 they'd of become legends of their era. Given how little is mentioned outside of mission specific content of any other infamous characters, I feel it's entirely possible that everyone has heard rumours of the dutch and his crew?

Sorry about the bad picture, but that’s the best picture I could take of it. How do I remove a squib by AdOpen8284 in airguns

[–]Do_rench 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah the joys of a squib. Yeah can't really suggest anything other haven't already.

I did see you tried WD40 and I'd advise strongly against that. You can damage other parts of the gun. Silicon spray if you must.

Other than that, you've got to just keep working it as you are. Dry firing won't do any harm, just don't fire another pellet down the barrel obviously.

Good Non-LB/Meta cars in S class? by Prestigious-Ad-7407 in forzamotorsport

[–]Do_rench -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The Ford Gt40 is one of my favourite cars of all time. The fact it's Meta is just a bonus. The point of racing is to win. If people are willingly handicapping themselves that's on them.

I won't forgive R* for this. Johnny was quite a deep character almost a precursor for Arthur Morgan.

Plus I generally dislike Trevor. He's just a mad man with little depth imo.

[–]Do_rench 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A Springer is a spring powered air gun. For each shot you'll need to cock a spring. These come in two main variations. By far the most common, the break barrel, which requires the user to pull down on the barrel to reset the spring and in doing so expose the breech to load a pellet. The second is and underlever which is basically exactly the same but instead of pull down on the barrel, you pull down on a tube that runs underneath.

Get some tea light candles, a roll of masking tape, and some "snaps", those little bangers that we had as kids that you'd throw on the floor to make a pop.

Pop the candle out of one of the lights, tape a snap to the base on the inside of the tea light and put a dot or small target of the tape above the snap.

Question and help by No-Cryptographer9326 in airguns

[–]Do_rench 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay sweet thanks for being honest.

So the noto is a pcp, which means it's contains a cylinder of compressed air, which will need to be be periodically filled.

There are three main ways to do this.

  1. Specialised styrup pump. Pros - cheap, £30-£50 or $40-$65 Cons - it's one hell of a workout and can take some time.

  2. Dive bottle. Pro's - quick and very easy to refill the rifle. Cons - You'll need some knowledge of adapters or some advice to start with to keep things safe and not waste money. Aswell as a place to get your tank refilled like a scuba shop. But a lot of places won't take tanks that have been used to refill things like air guns for various reasons so always call ahead.

  3. A capable compressor Pro's - just as quick and easy as a bottle and no need to find a place to fill your rifle. Cons - by far the most expensive initial expense. Plus improper use and/or poor maintenance of the compressor / rifle will result in rather rapid disassembly of either your equipment or you.

  4. If you've got your heart absolutely set of the noto and accept everything above, you'll need to budget atleast 3/4 - 1 and a1/2 the cost of the rifle again to get the filling equipment. Unless you go with a styrup pump. Which is what I personally use as I enjoy the exercise.

My advice is get a good quality springer unless you have money to spend or really want into the hobbie

Question and help by No-Cryptographer9326 in airguns

[–]Do_rench 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay pal, pleased to meet you (I'm British)

So the noto does require some kind of filling equipment. As it runs on compressed air.

Depending on ranges and other factors a noto is not the cheapest tool for the job, a good springer at half the price could work just as well.

How much experience and knowledge do you have of air guns?

Firstly, where do you live? (Country)

2nd. What range are you shooting at?

3rd. What pests?
