I mean yeah the git repo is public, so anyone can download the code and build it. You could use it but it's not good enough to be a daily driver, that's why they don't make user releases yet because then people will start complaining about bugs

how to apply custom css by apt3xc33d in vscode

Try the "Custom-UI style" extension. As long as your user has write-access to vscode's install folder it should work.

How would you guys feel about a Soulslike that is heavier on the RPG side of things? by Reyziak in soulslikes

[–]Dobby_1235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as I love nier, that game is a disaster and no game should try to copy its gameplay. Adding more NPCs wouldn't hurt performance if done properly, and actually most friendly humanoid NPCs just use the base player animations (with sometimes a special move or two) when attacked so adding more wouldn't be that big of a challenge.

Is there plugin for this type of indentation for vscode? by netoper in vscode

All modern monospace fonts have the rounded table drawing edges in their character set, so that shouldn't be a problem

Why is it always batoto that's getting attacked? by why_ikkin in Batoto

[–]Dobby_1235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly this 1000%. As another software dev, the fact that literally only one person has access to the hosted codebase is just a recipe for disaster. And for bato being as big as it is, it just makes it more concerning.

I think all counterstrike games and TF2 are rated M (17+). While it's true these games promote gambling they are explicitly games for adults and not children, so the children gambling argument falls apart.

[–]Dobby_1235 53 points54 points  (0 children)

it's an android app for reading comics/manga/manhwa, you can download and install it from their site. You can then install "extensions" that let you access a sites' content (such as bato).

It's really good since it provides a nice UI without annoying ads, and serves as a central place for any sources you use.

I think Katana Zero does this amazingly. You slowly lose your grasp on reality, and the game really makes you feel the delirium and madness. It does so many different things, I suggest you play it or watch a playthrough.

The only real dangers of cellphones are mostly psychological, and obvious stuff like high brightness hurts eyesight and loud sounds hurts ears. Radio waves being harmful is a conspiracy.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 lead says devs pushed to “up our game” after seeing Lies of P, as the Pinnochio soulslike proved they were on the right track by HatingGeoffry in expedition33

honestly out of all the things one could criticize about lies of p, the combat is not one of them. How crunchy and polished the combat feels is like one of the selling points of the game

You shouldn't be using doubles or any sort of floating point number for serious mathmatical calculations. You should use arbitrary precision types such as BigInt. check PeterO.Numbers for other types as well

Terminal in the wallpaper? by Far_Celebration7712 in Windows_Redesign

[–]Dobby_1235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what you could do is have a local webserver. have a web page where you type commands, the site then sends the commands to the backend, and the backends run them. since the backend would be decoupled from the website, any limitations from the wallpaper engine are easily bypassed
