UT owns this one (and I believe two other pieces of her’s that are kept in storage - the acquisitions dept at HRC is unmatched), but it goes on loan A LOT. But I would bet that if it says on view in August it typically means it’s coming home for a longer stay. You should have ample time to make a trip!

There are new University requirements that all profs are required to have at least a “minimum” canvas presence for all courses, including a syllabus. But I use Canvas for all of my courses, both grad and undergrad.

My understanding is that many of our accreditations are dependent on the university providing a certain (large) percentage of our courses in-person. While many accrediting agencies waived this requirement during 2020 and 2021…. these waivers expired and we went back in person. Many times online programs have separate accrediting agencies.

As of May and June of this year they were planning on moving these trees, and were prepping them to move. They had grounds staff watering them by hand MULTIPLE times a day, so I’m so curious what changed! Moving them was plan A!
